  1. Update as to the new Federal requirement ESSA

    It was my understanding that Skyward was working on this programming update to add an additional digit to the current 3 digit building code. This mandatory update is to take effect starting 7/1/18. Appreciate any update as to progress in this federal requirement.

  2. Mass Account Add

    Need the Mass addition of accounts added to the import process. This function is already available in Budget Entry and would be very beneficial in the revisions. This would allow for addition of accounts for money not included in the original budget adoption. Currently the process is to manually add accounts to the COA which can be in the hundreds and then import the spreadsheet to load money.

  3. Payment Type Totals Independent of Detail Lines

    Add option to allow payment type (Cash Check EFT etc.) to be defined on the Batch instead of being built from accumulated totals from the detail line items.

    Payment type can be selected as a default and/or retained value on the Data Retention on Add.

    Navigate to Data Retention on add for Cash Receipts (WF\AM\GI\CA\CA\CA)
    There is a checkbox next to the Field “Payment Type” make sure to check that and select “EFT” from the drop down.

  4. Adding Subject Profile Building Location

    Currently we have a group of Assignee's for Finance PayRoll and Benefits where any one two or more people can address the Task but they would know according to the entity they are assigned to. We have over 48+ entities and each person is assigned to a school. This would keep me from having to create 30+ organization charts for each type of form to achieve my goal. If they can see the entity then the person assigned to the school could open and then close the Task. The expected out come would be to include the entity location. TO…

  5. Pseudo Approvals for Fixed Assets on EEs

    We need a way for our employees to be able to initiate changes to their fixed assets that are checked out to them. We want them to be able to say that they do or don't have something checked out to them - and then have that go through approval.

  8. Purchase Order Electronic Signatures

    In PAC we have the ability to select from 5 signatures when we print purchase orders. The selection is based on the administrator approving the PO. Currently we don't have the ability to do this on the web. So requisitions are processed on the web and then printed from PAC so the signature can be selected. Our preference would be to do the whole process on the Web vs going back and forth between systems.

  9. Create additional sections under Attachments

    Would like to create additional areas under attachments so we can give security to specific groups to different attachments. EG: Benefits HR Payroll Technology Health Services.

  10. Account Code Attached to Rate Code

    Be able to attach account codes to a Rate Code in subtracking rather than having to manually change each account code for a specific rate code. That way the correct account code will post automatically when using a particular rate code with no manual change necessary. This would save our district hours each month in manual changes.

  11. FTP For fleid on Business

    For student the FLEID export is in Fed/State and allows to FTP directly from there to DOE. In Business it is in Employee / Utilities but does not have the feature to FTP. That something that might be in the works? FTP to state on business like student

  12. Force Period Pay Amount

    Payroll is currently modifying pay records to use the amounts desired as the current frequency override only provides a way to get close. Additionally if the assignment record is every exported again the manual adjustment must be made again to maintain the desired period pay amount. Need a field on assignment - payroll information to allow the entry of a period pay amount which would then be exported to payroll. The field would follow the same rules of reset for the current pay frequency override at the beginning of the next fiscal year. Attached word document shows an example person…

  14. add column to View with Application Count

    Add a column to the View that shows the number of Applications for each Status Code.

    This will allow this area to be must more useful and prevent the user from having to check each code to see who is attached or how many are attached.

  15. Changes 1099 Values in Check Request module

    When I was running our 1099's for the 2017 CY all of our vendors were defaulted to box 7. As indicated below from Skyward I would need to un-check the box when I am looking at check requests. This is not a great option for us as we are not a PO district and I would have to edit every check request to un-check the 1099 box as the system auto checks this box because we have 1099 information setup.

  16. Allow Users to Attach Documents to Return Request

    Users should be able to attach documents and pictures to their return requests so that they can take a picture of a damaged item and include it as backup on the return request. Add an Attach button to this screen and allow users to upload documents and pictures.

  18. Want subtotal of invoices

    On PaC the invoice tab shows a subtotal of all invoices both Batch and Open. The web version of the screen does not show a total of invoices. Want a total of invoices to display like the PaC side.

  19. Assignment Calculation - Whole Dollar

    Need 3rd option to round to nearest whole dollar. It then calculate contract amounts that are in agreement with union contracts and published salary schedules. Duplicate existing penny rounding except round to whole dollars I would hope to help protect and document things like pictures screen shots etc that can be found and linked to a specific student and a specific incident

  20. Add comparative columns for amended budget

    When I do an amended budget I am limited on comparative columns (customize column 1 and 2) that would be meaningful (see attached Word doc). I am only able to select data from the prior two years. For an amended budget the current year activity and budget would be much more meaningful and should be added as an option for an amended budget. The negative impact of not making the change is the frustration that the budget entry isn't meaningful for an amended budget.
