1. Grade Percentages added to Grade Cards

   I am making a request that Grade Percentages be made available to print on grade cards-District & Custom. I do NOT want to request this as a custom change for our district only. I would like to see this added for ALL Skyward users. When I asked during our 1st year of using Skyward I was told that percentages weren't needed on grade cards. However when students withdraw the school they are transferring to wants %'s especially if it's in the middle of a grading period. If an A is 90-100 there is a big difference between the 90 & 100. This runs true for all other grade marks. I even was asked to provide %'s for a student's quarter grades because that school wanted them for averaging together. If I can print %'s via EA+/Secondary Prog Rpt Ltr AND check Print Posted Grades instead of Gradebook Grades why can't percentages be printed on grade cards for all students?

2. allow term adjustments to be calculated into final

   We often use grade adjustments within term grade posting based on attendance and other expectations. It is rare that our teachers use the weighted grade option as that is very difficult to have a balance of equal points between grading terms. As I understand that is the only option to have the grade adjustments be calculated into the FG. (By the way we have semester/term grading). If a teacher makes (ex) a grade increase because a student was close to an A- that positivity should be then reflected in the students final grade. That is not currently the case. A student doesn't get the benefit (or the penalty) of an adjusted grade calculated into their Final Grade which is what drives GPA. We would like any grade adjustments to actually make an impact on the student's final grade. At this point they are meaningless or it will force all of our teacher's to individually search out any Term 1 grade adjustments and readjust the final grade as well as any Term 2 adjustments at the time final grades are posted.
   The attachment highlights a view of the FG not being reflective of the grade adjustment.

   We would like to see grade adjustments within any term be a natural reflection on the final grade at posting time. CS Notes: Site is using cumulative to calculate the final grade. They would like the system to automatically move the term adjustment to the final grade adjustment. They would like to also add an option in configuration to turn off the automatic movement of the adjustment if sites do not want this to happen.

3. Font Size on District Report Cards

   We have received a request from the Post Office asking for us to increase the size of the font on the address on District Report Cards. We opened a service ticket but were told that the font size could not be changed.
   We are requesting to have the ability to increase the size of the font.

4. Schedule Task with Preview

   For years I have had the Mass Delete Grades By Grade Bucket run as a 2 part Scheduled Task. The tasks that I had saved were no longer working so I created new templates to run the utility. However now from my Print Queue when I select the Task button "Schedule This" is not available to select. After submitting a Skyward service call I am told: "We recently changed an option to be able to schedule a process that has a preview. Any utility that has a preview at the beginning is no longer able to be scheduled. I apologize if this is an inconvenience but I suggest submitting an RFE if this is something you want to add back in as an option."

   I do not know why they took this ability away but I believe that we should be able to schedule any utility to run as a task if it needed for the completion of tasks without having to manually complete the same thing daily. This was used by our district with respect to eligibility reporting to insure that grades in grade buckets were removed before the auto posting of the athletic grade bucket ran daily.

   The ability to schedule tasks for any utilities that have a preview should be restored in the programming. I do not know why reasoning was applied to remove the ability to schedule these types of tasks. I never had any issue with running the 2 part scheduled task in the many years it ran for our district.

5. Name fields on Grading & Attendance Analysis Repor

   Currently the only option for this report is to pull the student's full name. It would be beneficial to have the student's name fields broken down by first name and last name.
   This report has the option to export directly into Excel. By pulling the name into separate fields campus administrators will be able to filter and search more easily.

6. Add- Sort by Counselor to transcripts and RC

   Since we can now designate the student's counselor and can print for a range of counselors for transcripts and report cards it would also be helpful if we could print all the transcripts sorted by counselor. Currently we have to print each counselors group of transcripts by range with means we run the print multiple times.

7. Rewrite Test Scores on Custom Transcripts

   The Test Scores object on Custom Transcripts is a bit of a train wreck. Essentially you get a combination of a hand-made layout combined with the bulky poorly laid out Test Scores Report onto a single document...the snapshot of the attached transcript layout and then generated PDF was actually 9 pages long. There simply has to be a cleaner more professional way to pull Test Scores data. If it means redoing the report too we're all for it. There has to be a better way to design the test details and results so they cleanly lay across a page. Is this a possibility? Everything you choose is so all or nothing. You should be able to hand-pick columns and rows of data and specific sections. In the 3rd attachment the idea would be to display hand-selected data that neatly fits and aligns across the page using the space appropriately.

8. Add the OTHER ID field to the Standard Report Card

   We would like the field of OTHER ID added to the options in the header/footer area of the Standard report cards. As we work towards an electronic cum folder it is a requirement to have the Student's OTHER ID number on the report card so we can use that to rename the files for mass uploads to the electronic cum folder process.

9. Add Team to Sort Options for reports

   Our Middle School and many others have Scheduling Teams. Often they need to sort data by these teams but it is not an option. Would like Current Year Scheduling Team from the Entity tab of the Student Profile added as a Sort Option.
   Sort Options to include Team for Honor Roll Report Cards and other grading reports.

10. Custom report cards element cloning

    This applies to CTE but could also have implementations in K-12.
    
    While it is possible to clone Standards Based Custom Report Cards and change the school year (Being able to do this automatically as part of the cloning processes at the end of the year would be great) if you are using an object in the report to limit the results that you see on the report you are bound to having to select those each year.
    
    We are using Standards Gradebook Custom Report Card currently to show all tasks that a student has accomplished against and Academic Area. This works well when trying to see the overall progress towards the completion of the Program of Study but when you want to drill deeper into creating a task list for the individual career objectives you need to select which elements you want to see or not see on the report card. These individual items are tied to the specific year when the template was created regardless of having changed the school year in the main report options.
    
    At present we have 216 Custom Report Cards that illustrate the level of progression towards completion of the career objectives but they do not filter any longer because the task elements are tied to the specific year they were added.
    
    The problem of rectifying this is not just having to redo 216 templates but to select each and every element needed or not needed to be displayed. This is not a process that can be done every year!
    I believe there are several ways we can go about handling this. One would be to have an area of reporting where we could list specific tasks/standards to be reported and saved as a template that is not year specific.
    
    The second would be to have a display or report of each of the career objectives/standards groups with a percentage of completion indicator. This would help serve as motivation for the student to complete the few tasks/standards left to achieve the next objective.

    This applies to CTE but could also have implementations in K-12.

11. Custom report card migration of subjects/skills/co

    Every year while updating custom report cards it is a manual process to clone them to a new year. The cloning process does NOT recognize cloning the subjects/skills/comments from year to year. It asks to chose again for the current year. This is an overwhelming amount of work as total changes can be over 30 areas per report card/term/grade.
    Asking that when cloning the school year in custom report card that it will duplicate the prior year report card in total - no edits required.
