Expense Reimbursement - Verify Available Funds
GOAL:
The Verify Funds options should be made available in the Expense Reimbursement module. Without this function, reimbursement requests can be made without available funds. The enhancement would eliminate the possibility of processing payments without available funds and provide necessary controls in the software. The AP available funds setup in PaC > SA > FM Config > AP will govern Expense Reimbursements. It does so at the AP Processing level, so you won’t necessarily see the verification at the Expense Reimbursement phase. Neither will it verify at the Exp Reimbursement approval phase. Instead, you will noticed an * indicating that the account is over-budget.

Report Print Options at All Levels
The goal is to allow any/all pre-verifiers and approvers the options of printing the Reimbursement Report for their records is necessary. Currently only the employee submitting the Expense Reimbursement and AP staff have the capability of printing this report. Make the Print option button available to any pre-verify or approver throughout the Expense Reimbursement process.

Correct Reimbursement Report Totals
The goal of this enhancement is to accurately show the reimbursement total in the various fields within the Expense Reimbursement process and on the printed report. Currently the totals include the Direct Bill Amounts which is not made clear to the users/approvers. We would like to see a grand total for all expenses incurred by the employee less the Direct Bill items and then a final balance for the actual Reimbursement amount. It appears that Skyward is already capturing the reimbursement amounts separately in the activity screens but not clearly reporting them throughout the process.

Employee Cost Report in Employee Management
I would like to see a report under Employee Administration - Employee Management similar to the Employee Cost by Account Report in Salary Negotiations. This report provides all of the costing we need for staff budgeting but cannot be created from the "live" plans.

true time account
True time has the ability to enter two pay codes. However, it does not pull the correct account number from those pay codes. It pulls only from the primary. The system should be able to be set up to do this.

Need 3rd Party Vendor Added
I am not sure my original sent (I didn't get a copy so I am sending one more time). We need to have a 3rd Pary Vendor Added. Our Retirement Company RHI (Charls Schwab) has a biweekly required file we needs to creat every payroll. Allow Export of Employee Data
Allow export of employee data that can be scheduled similar to how skybuild works in student mgmt. allow export to a CSV file that will allow the file to retain any leading zeros in the ssn or other codes. data mining does not accomplish this as it will only export to excel, and it changes the formatting.

JE approval path streamlined
Would like to have a journal entry approval path alternative for established dollar amount thresholds or for certain types of JE's.
For example maybe entries over $50K go to the CFO rather than a Director,etc..
Also would like to be able to see who prepared and reveiwed the JE on the screen or when printed for audit purposes.1 voteIf you haven’t already tried the approve and reroute option, that might meet your needs:
There is not a way to have conditional approval for Journal Entries in the way described in the question. What can be done, however, is that the Journal Entry setup can be done in such a way so as to allow rerouting approval to another user.
When this option is turned on, Journal Entry approvers will be able to approve the journal entry and then send it to another User for approval.
This User must be an approver in another Journal Entry Group.

Credit Cards
I've noticed a couple things that could be changed since working with the credit cards and training our staff on how to submit their transactions. I would like to see a pop up to flag the user to select a PO or something along those lines. It's too easy to add detail and acct codes without selecting a PO. Also, there is some confusion when assigning the PO detail to the transaction with the Assign All PO lines and Close as the options. I particularly like the Assign all PO lines option but it seems to confuse some. And if…

When entering Invoices into Skyward Finance, it would be nice to be able to change the Check Format at any point during the Invoice Entry process. The way it's set up now, the option to change Check Layout grays out and becomes unavailable after the Invoice Amount is entered.

Shift Differential
Please make it possible to have skyward automatically calculate shift differential for second shift staff. In the timekeeping rule under the shift differential section Hourly Pay option a box to select the pay code to pay needs to be added to allow the shift differential pay code to be added. Similar to how it is in the annualized option. For example staff who start work at 3 pm and work until midnight. Anyone in a certain employee group is paid an additional $.60 per hour for any hours they work between 3:30 pm - 03:00 am. This is for hourly…

Fix the programming so we can get 1/1-6/30 retirement hours to be reported
When running a retirement report in data mining the 1/1-6/30 hours are not populating. The monies for that time frame come in and the calendar hours come in but not the 1st half of the year hours.
I worked with a tech 2 years ago and he realized the problem and was going to write up a report for programming but after that and 3 other requests it still has not been fixed. This is essential when doing the annual retirement reporting.

Edit time off hours
I would like the ability to edit time off hours in True Time. For example, we have had employees who went home sick midday. They worked 5 of their 8 hours and then put in for 1/2 sick day which added an additional 4 hours. Per policy, employees using paid time off cannot be paid for more than their scheduled hours. With the current system, I have to change the time off request to 0 days, manually add the time off hours in True Time, then go back and change the time off request back to the correct increment after…

Check Request Approval
Immediately see account code & overage alert for check request on the bottom of screen like we currently do for POs. Also make check request approval available in mobile app in same area as POs.

Entity Id Entry on the Certification Screen
Please enable the ability to enter the Entity ID in the Certification tab. Right now, the field is visible there, but you cannot enter it there, you have to go out to the Name tab. This is time consuming when you are already in the certification field and could just enter it there.

Employee Letter/Task Mgr - Add digital signature & template to be able to add one by one without creating new every time
We want to be able to create an agreement for our coaches/advisors that allow us to pull data from Employee Management into an Employee Letter that the coach would digitally sign. We would then embed the letter into a Task Manager process that allows us to have a building admin or secretary initiate a request in Task Manager, that first goes to HR for review/approval, then HR generates the employee letter that is e-mailed to the coach in the next step.
