  1. Ability To Tie Specific Time Off Codes to Specific Pay Codes

    We would like the ability to connect specific time off codes to specific pay codes. Time off populates into timesheets, and from the timesheet it flows into payroll. With past employers, sick/vacation/personal time taken showed up on employees pay stubs. This would also be helpful when someone received a different rate of pay for time off. This became most evident and problematic with COVID absences, but it would be helpful in VARIOUS ways that have nothing to do with COVID.   3. Report transfer

    Need a utility/function that allows for the transfer of reports to a new owner. When an employee leaves they have hundreds of reports that need to be transferred to their replacement instead of having to clone each report individually. This transfer should process datamines from all areas (emplyee, budget, vendor, etc.).

  4. Employee Leave Tracking

    We need a functionality within the system to track employee leaves (FMLA, child rearing, unpaid, intermittent, etc). This needs to be used as a communication system between multiple departments (the employees supervisor, technology, HR, payroll, etc).

  5. Check Estimator on Employee Profile!!!

    Having a check estimator option somewhere on the employee profile screen to show what that employee's check will be based on pay/ded/ben BEFORE we run payroll. I'm surprised this isn't an option.

    Good Morning! Thanks for all the feedback, we appreciate it! There is a great option right now to get to the Check Estimator from Employee Profile. If you login to Skyward > Web Human Resources > Employee Profile and search for the employee you are looking to run the Check Estimator for, you can then click on the Blue Information Icon (i) next to the search bar and Ranges button. This will take you out to Employee Access, where you can click on the Check Estimator tab and run the Check Estimator process for that employee.

  6. Vendor profile - viewing inactive vendors

    It would be extremely helpful when pulling up vendors in Vendor Profile if inactive vendors could be differentiated in someway. Maybe make inactive vendors a different color or something easy to spot when typing in the vendor key. In order to see if a vendor is inactive while in profile you have to select that vendor to view the vendor information. This would also be helpful in Vendor Browse. Instead of looking at the columns for a Y or N an easier view would be to make them stand out like in employee browse. In HR all inactive employees show…

  7. Direct Deposit Notification Change Emails Causing Alarm

    We have enabled the auto email notification to send to employees when their direct deposit has changed.
    However, the system sends an email when you
    1. Are setting up a new employee (they had no direct deposit in the system, and now they do since you just got their direct deposit set up)
    2. When you change their direct deposit to print instead of "Do not print direct deposit on check run." We commonly change this when the employee is leaving as we cut off their access to employee access.

    This causes a lot of undue alarm in people. Is…

    After researching the two issues detailed in the
    Product Idea we have some feedback.

    We will not be considering #1 for development. Best practices in security are constantly changing and bad actors become more resourceful and creative. This is a valid valid email event to me. If a Bad Actor adds a direct deposit number when there wasn’t supposed to be one, that would be something our users would want to be notified about. Even if it does cause alarm, better to be safe then sorry.

    We looked into #2 and are not able to duplicate this issue in any environment. We will need to know the exact steps you took to recreate the event.

  8. Attachments Added to Receiving should follow into AP and show attached to invoice as well

    If an invoice is attached in the Receiving Record, then once you update Pending Receiving in Accounts Payable then the attachment should follow. This way you can see the attachment if you are looking at the invoices or the PO. Right now it's just seen as an attachment to the PO. If you attach the invoice into Invoice Entry and not Receiving then you only see the attachment when looking at the invoices and it's not attached to the PO. We need it seen in both places.

  9. Add Ability to Schedule Direct Deposit Email Processing

    Currently there is no option to schedule the Direct Deposit Email that goes out on pay day. The ability to schedule this a few days before would be beneficial so staff who are on vacation and or out sick do not have to log in to send the email the morning of payroll.

    Hello! Scheduling Direct Deposit emails is current functionality. You can set this up two different ways. If you just sent your Direct Deposit emails recently, you can go into “My Print Queue” (upper right hand corner of your screen). You will see a Report Description with “Send Direct Deposit Emails”. Highlight the row by clicking on it and then click on Tasks on the right hand side. You will then click on Schedule This, which will prompt you to choose which days of the week, months of the year, etc. to run the scheduled task. Once you are finished click Save. If you do not have any recent Direct Deposit Emails sent, once you run your next Payroll and you send the notification you will have the same record in your Print Queue which will allow you to setup your scheduled task with the same steps above.   10. Contract Tab, have an option to update the pay record with the new contract paid start/stop dates at the bottom

    When updating a contract in the contract tab, there are options at the bottom to "Update Pay Records, Update Inactive Pay Records, Change Pay Record frequency to this frequency if different." There needs to be an option that says "Update pay record with contract start/stop dates." This would help with those that coach especially. The contract is updated, but if the pay record has last year's pay start/stop dates, it does not update. You have to manually put in the new paid start/stop dates.

  11. Add Processing List to Selection Parameters for all PAC payroll mass processes.

    Add Processing List to Selection Parameters for all PAC payroll mass processes. It would save a considerable amount of time if this option was available for all payroll PAC options, but specifically to adding, deleting, or editing pay records. The processing list option is already available for most areas in Skyward Web, it should be in PAC too.

  13. Add Credit Card as a Check Type

    When entering invoices, I would think choosing to pay the invoice via Credit Card would be similar to Wire, ACH, or Regular check.

    Not sure how complex it would be to link the payment type to the Credit Card section for review/submit/approve options. With paperless options increasing, I feel like this is the time to link the two together.

  14. Ability to mass remove selected employees from org chart

    Org Chart
    Can you please add a mass process to remove several employees under an employee at one time from the org chart. For example summer school or additional assignments that are short term however, they're setup in True Time to keep track of the pay and hours by clocking in.

  16. Option to reprint vouchers in Accounts Payable or a system setting to not move forward until opened

    In Kansas, our PR and AP clerks are both having issues remembering to print their vouchers while doing PR and AP. My PR clerk is trying to get into the habit of saving those each time but forgets to do that and print them sometimes. Is there a way to go back and reprint vouchers that you know of? If not then could a setting be added to not move onto the next section in AP until vouchers are printed or at least opened.   17. Add ability to search for journal entries and cash receipts by keyword

    When I want to search for an old journal entry or cash receipts, to view or clone it, you can only search by date posted. It would be nice if you could search by keyword in the description of journal entry or cash receipt.

  18. view assignment detail in PaC (again)

    We used to be able to go into the profile of an employee, on the position tab and view the assignment detail. It is no longer an option. With payroll being on the PaC side, it would be nice to still have the option to view the assignment information and not have to go into the web side to view. Doing payroll, I am very rarely in the web side.

  19. Conference Tracking

    I would like for there to be a tracker for the conferences our employees attend. We currently do this with a Google Form but it would be beneficial to have this in Skyward under Employee Access. This tracker would have fields for the employee to input what conferences they are attending and details about the conference. It would also have a place for the employee to estimated the cost of the conference. There would need to be an approval process after completing the form.

  20. Develop full-service HR module

    Develop option to upload documents to an employee HR File (regular & confidential). Allow for user to set up sections to categories in which to file paperwork (certificates, training, evaluations, benefits, etc). Include ability to allow supervisor to access specific sections (evaluations, trainings). Would also like to have employee be able to access specific portions of file (evaluations, training).

    Also incorporate on-boarding section to move from Fast Track into benefits enrollment.
