    1. Could you expand more upon the use case for this requested change?

    a. What would be an instance where you only want to merge a specific prior fiscal year?

    2. Where would you expect to select the fiscal year? Would a single account be merged at a time or multiple?

  2. Add Commodity Code as Budgetary Data Mining field.

    Add COMMODITY CODE field to Budgetary Data Mining.

    More and more districts are using Commodity Codes but there is only 1 report that includes Commodity Codes but it does not include account distribution information.

    Add Commodity Code so that users can include on their BDM reports.

  3. Add Employee Access > Personal Information > Calendar widget

    Add a widget for Employee Access > Personal Information > Calendar. This calendar if unique to the Employee. The widget should jump to the Personal Calendar for the employee when Calendar Options can be set. But the widget should then display for the 'current day' any entries the Employee has defined, such as My Employee's Time Off, as well as their Assignment Calendar information

  4. Mass Inactivate Utility for Chart of Accounts in web

    Having a utility that would allow us to specify via a parameter how many years we wish to search as well as each of the account dimensions (ie. project). The utility would then search account activity over those years and present a browse list of those that have '$0' expenditures or '$0' balances. After previewing the list (with option to check/uncheck those that we want to exclude from processing) we would commit to inactivating those accounts. Maybe add this to web.

  5. Total HOURS = wrs or worked hours

    Employees would like a way/ to view track worked hours (mostly for WRS). HR/Payroll is able to see total WRS hours. HR/Payroll can use the retirement custom tab (retirement tab- retirement detail hours)to view total WRS/Worked hours and employee has had. Is this something that an employee would be able to see easily on their employee access portal?

    I don't see in the employee access portal (skyward web), where employees has a total worked hours or total WRS hours listed for them to view. Our bus drivers have asked for this option - to help track WRS hours - since…

  6. Please consider an "Auto approval" option for E-commerce POs.

    Being that Ecommerce POs go through the approval process, please consider providing an option to "auto approve" these orders so that someone isn't relied on to "push" them thru to the vendor manually. Thank you

  8. Add submit button to invoice entry screen

    Add "submit for approval" button to the invoice entry screen or "Save for later", similar to the credit card screen. Also, being able to submit for approval by batch would be helpful if the supervisor then received only one email notification.

  9. It would be great if you could print Copy A that is submitted to the IRS for 1099's, if there is an issue efile you can submit via mail

    It would be great if Copy A of 1099s can be printed from skyward. If there is an issue wit e-file with the IRS there is an option to print instead of handwrite all 1099's

    Because Copy A is only valid when printed on specialized paper forms obtained directly through the IRS, it is in the best interest of our users to not offer that particular printing option since submitting the forms on the wrong paper could result in penalties from the IRS.

  10. Purcahse Order "DO NOT DUPLICATE" ability to be printed on purchase orders

    Have a box/space that can/will read DO NOT DUPLICATE PURCHASE ORDERS on printed purchase orders so vendor(s) do not duplicate orders. Several purchase orders duplicated by vendors

  11. Taxable Life Insurance Warning

    There should be a warning that pops up on your first payroll in December (or even all payrolls in December) that reminds you to include the taxable benefit for group life insurance over $50K. This is a very common error that could be mostly avoided if there was a small pop-up that just reminded you to do it. For those that do it each payroll it would be a small annoyance, but for the people that do it once a year it could save a tone of time.   12. Pre-populate pay period/payroll dates

    When doing the payroll processing, you need to enter the payroll date, posting date, pay period, etc all manually. These dates could easily be automatically filled in. the way I would suggest to do this is to use the "Run Numbers" that are currently in the payroll system and just add some additional settings that would like you select the frequency (weekly, biweekly, monthly, etc). Based on the frequency selected and a calendar the system could determine what the dates would be. This would help everyone that does payroll to be more efficient and less likely to have a typing…

  16. Changing Employee Schedules

    In the employee profile, under the TrueTime tab, in Workweek Schedule. It would be helpful if when you made a change to the schedule it would ask you if you would like to make that change for just that week or if you would like it changed going forward. In my District I need to make changes to one specific week to get the Time off to import correctly. Currently to be able to do that I have to change the week I want and then go to the next week and change it back to the original schedule.

  17. Requisition detail per-line discount

    Currently, there is no way to add a discount percentage for a detail line. I have a quote from a vendor that shows a percentage discount per line, but there is no way to input that in the line item, the column "% Disc" just shows '0'. Per Skyward support, I have to manually figure the discount myself and add an additional line to subtract.

    Thank you for submitting this idea. We need more information to fully understand this request.

    In SMS 2.0 you are able to add a flat discount for a Vendor which gets applied to all line items for that vendor. The result of that discount is what you would see on the Requisition screen in the %Discount column and should be applied automatically.

    This is the first time we’ve heard of Vendors providing separate discounts depending on the item purchased. We would need to understand this use case more thoroughly and have more support from the Skyward user community prior to considering it for development.

  18. ALL SKYWARD PRESET REPORTS SHOULD INCLUDE THE EMPLOYEE ID/NAMEID

    Every preset report should automatically include either the employee ID or NameKey (as long as they are consistent). Some reports have the name key. Some reports are LFM, some are Last Name, First, Middle in separate columns with no employee ID. I will use the Time Off Tracker as an example. It defaults with all three names in separate columns. I find myself constantly pulling a data mining reports and running VLOOKUP to add an employee ID or employee type to a report. How about some consistency?     The SMS 2.0 strategy behind canned reports was that each report was built with input from customers on what they wanted and needed at that time. The benefit to that strategy was that each report was designed in such a way that is was unique to that area.

    As times have changed it has come at the cost of consistency across the system. This strategy was something Skyward shifted with our Qmlativ product where we have one stop shop for Report Management with a Report Designer and a Data Mining Designer.

    Do you have specific reports that you’d like updated with a NameKey option in the parameters?

  19. Color Code options for Employee Profile and other menus.

    In Employee Profile, an option to customize the color of each tab that appears on the left hand side (Employee, Position, Tax, etc) would be nice. It would be great to have "Employee" in purple, "Position" in green, "Tax" in Red etc. It would be a lot easier and faster to find the option that I am looking for.

    We’ve looked into this request and are unable to consider it at this time.

    Reports that have stacked headers and stacked detail lines do not drop to excel gracefully. One option that is used by some users is filtering the browse and dumping those results to excel.
