Expense Reimbursement Attachments
When entering in an expense reimbursement it would be helpful if a warning showed up when attachments are not included before they can submit the reimbursement for certain expense codes. This would help employees understand they need to submit receipts for certain expenses.

Utility to remove Old WIP status Expense Reimbursement requests
Clean up utility to remove WIP status expense reimbursement requests for former employees or for prior years. When you use the "Print WIP Report" you have a list of outstanding requests from all years and termed employees.
To remove these request you need to make the employee active again and add them to the org chart. Then login as the employee to remove the request, remove them from the org chart, make account inactive again.4 votes -
Would like to be able to MASS allocate SNOW DAY hours for all hourly employees for their contracted day by employee type.
would like for an option in the calendar that allows the creation of hours added to a timesheet for a snow day similarly to the holiday hours.

Combine Employee Contact Information
Format employee data so that address and phone/email can be viewed on one "contact information" page. Clicking from one area to the other to get this information is very cumbersome.

On the Employee Profile screen, towards the top of the screen there is a customize button - with this you can choose to have specific employee information pinned onto the screen for easier viewing of the data you wish to see.
I have included an attachment of the button on Employee Profile with the options available to you.

FastTrack Applicant Reference Update
Would like an update for applicants to be able to change their references. The 1 year configuration in position set up is not working. We have applicants that originally applied for Aide positions 3-4 years ago that now have teacher certifications. They would like to update reference for their teaching experience. Even after purging the application the references still came back after their social was reentered. The old references are not valid for the position currently applying for. Please consider adding an update for applicants to change their references.

Emergency Contact Information upload & manipulation of fields
Before "Emergency Contacts" was an option in Web H/R, we developed a "Custom Form" that H/R entered the information on the employee.....Years later the "Emergency Contact" was released, we've been utilizing that. Our H/R dept is manually entering information into the "Emergency Contact? We asked Skyward if there was an upload (and there is not). We also asked if we could "downsize/manipulate" all the various fields in the "Emergency Contact" area, since we don't need to know where the contact works etc... Add Commodity Code as Budgetary Data Mining field.
Add COMMODITY CODE field to Budgetary Data Mining.
More and more districts are using Commodity Codes but there is only 1 report that includes Commodity Codes but it does not include account distribution information.
Add Commodity Code so that users can include on their BDM reports.

Add Employee Access > Personal Information > Calendar widget
Add a widget for Employee Access > Personal Information > Calendar. This calendar if unique to the Employee. The widget should jump to the Personal Calendar for the employee when Calendar Options can be set. But the widget should then display for the 'current day' any entries the Employee has defined, such as My Employee's Time Off, as well as their Assignment Calendar information

Mass Inactivate Utility for Chart of Accounts in web
Having a utility that would allow us to specify via a parameter how many years we wish to search as well as each of the account dimensions (ie. project). The utility would then search account activity over those years and present a browse list of those that have '$0' expenditures or '$0' balances. After previewing the list (with option to check/uncheck those that we want to exclude from processing) we would commit to inactivating those accounts. Maybe add this to web.
We aware that we can inactivate accounts one at a time but this can be very time consuming not…

Total HOURS = wrs or worked hours
Employees would like a way/ to view track worked hours (mostly for WRS). HR/Payroll is able to see total WRS hours. HR/Payroll can use the retirement custom tab (retirement tab- retirement detail hours)to view total WRS/Worked hours and employee has had. Is this something that an employee would be able to see easily on their employee access portal?
I don't see in the employee access portal (skyward web), where employees has a total worked hours or total WRS hours listed for them to view. Our bus drivers have asked for this option - to help track WRS hours - since…

Add submit button to invoice entry screen
Add "submit for approval" button to the invoice entry screen or "Save for later", similar to the credit card screen. Also, being able to submit for approval by batch would be helpful if the supervisor then received only one email notification.

It would be great if you could print Copy A that is submitted to the IRS for 1099's, if there is an issue efile you can submit via mail
It would be great if Copy A of 1099s can be printed from skyward. If there is an issue wit e-file with the IRS there is an option to print instead of handwrite all 1099's

Because Copy A is only valid when printed on specialized paper forms obtained directly through the IRS, it is in the best interest of our users to not offer that particular printing option since submitting the forms on the wrong paper could result in penalties from the IRS.
