Ability to see account numbers when entering invoices
I am trying to clean up vendor records with more data at our fingertips. When we have the invoice in front us for entering for payment is when we can see account number the vendor uses for us , their address, remit to address, terms etc. Please show the account number for that vendor on our invoice entry screen. Please see example.

Salary Negotiations - Include _Vacants in Reports
The Employee Management Report under Salary Negotiation Reports does not include Contract dollars amounts for _Vacant positions but should. Other reports in Salary Negotiations such as Pay/Distribution and Detail and Summary reports do. I would like to see this consistent.
7 votesTo include Vacants in report, go to the Selection Parameters in the report template. Add a new parameter set or edit an existing one. Make sure the Include Vacant Assignments is checked. Save the parameter set.

Processing Lists
We would like to be able to Clone co-workers Processing Lists. Also it would be nice to be able to delete old lists of employees that have not been here for years.

Allow Spreadsheet Style editing on Invoice Entry Screen
To makes edits on the invoice entry screen you currently have to edit each individual invoice. It would speed things up greatly if you could make edits down the columns just like a spreadsheet. For example, you enter 20 invoices and then realize that the due date needs to be changed. Instead of having to go to each individual invoice you could make a mass edit button that allows you to edit anything in the Invoice Entry grid and just hit enter to be able to move on to the next invoice to edit.

Update Last Inventoried Date
For districts that inventory their fixed assets annually, add a utility to mass change the Last Inventoried Data based on building and/or class.

Snapshot of what a fund looked like based upon a specific date
Our SBOA auditors have been asking us for a "snapshot" of our Federal Funds based upon a specific date of their choosing. This currently isn't possible because everything is like a living document in Skyward. So if we need to reproduce a data mining report from a prior date (say 8-31-19 for example) to verify something such as our reimbursement request for August expenditures will never be correct or the same as it was from 8-31-19 due to activity throughout the following months. We’re looking for clarity on this idea: Is this idea requesting an update to the reporting capabilities or does it deal more with the fact that if you backdate something we don’t have a tracker field in Data Mining to indicate that the transaction was backdated?

Truetime Org Chart
Our teachers work extra hours and they submit these hours on pay vouchers. Each pay voucher, depending on what the extra hours are, have supervisors approval the hours worked. I worked with Skyward over the summer in trying to get each of the extra pay items, entered as a new pay code at each building, but unfortunately, the org chart cannot accommodate the different scenarios we had.

Visual for Check Request approval
Please allow for a visual in the check request approval that views the same as the visual for the PO/req approval. This would greatly increase the speed of approving check requests as currently you have to click into each check request to see the account number. It would be much more efficient to have a visual displayed like the PO/req system approval.

Re-print damaged checks without having to update accounting
After printing paper checks but prior to Accounting update, include a question if all checks printed correctly. If the answer is yes, the accounting update proceeds as normal. If the answer is no, populate the list of checks that were printed with a checkbox next to each one. Checks that did not print properly would have the box(es) marked, along with a new print range for blank checks. This process repeats itself until all checks print properly.

Skyward does allow the reprint of checks prior to the Update option.
It is our recommended best practice for all districts to review the checks to confirm they have printed correctly prior to running the update.
During the update process Skyward provides a “triple confirmation”. When updating: you have to click Update, which brings you to the Update screen, then you have to click Update again, and then you receive a final window prompt to confirm you want to update.
The ability to choose to print only certain pages exist through standard printer options.

Ability to submit time off requests to mulitple supervisors at one time
When an employee has an assignment at more than one building they have the option to choose which supervisor to submit the time off request to, however, at this time they can only choose one or the other. They do not have the option to submit the time off request to both supervisors at one time. I think the option to submit to both supervisors at one time for each of the buildings would be a nice add-in.

Using PaC, please navigate to System Administration > Financial Management > Options System Configs
Under “3rd Party Retirement Plan Vendor Name” select “GateKeeper” this is the same format used by PenServ.
There are also instruction in SkyDoc to assist with setup.

Add additional colums to the view.
In using the Status Code view when looking at applications, the system will only allow you to view 10 columns. In addition, it will only allow you to dump into Excel 10 columns. Several of our applications have as many as 16 status codes assigned. We need either to see it in the view or at least be able to dump it to see the overall picture of the workflow processes on a grand scale.

Data Mining - Report Templates Sharing Repository
While participating in the Skyward User Group online training webinars last week, I was made aware that we can "Import" custom created report(s) templated into our own Skyward install. This allows sharing with other districts. There are many creative and strong SW users creating many beneficial custom reports. I think it would be a great idea to have an online "file repository" to allow sharing of report templates with all SW users from all districts if they are willing to share.

Add the amount for 4c amount in the W4 information tab
In addition to ordering the steps 1-4b like someone else requested add the amount that is calculated for 4c to add the federal deduction amount right there. It makes sense to do all of that on the one screen since we may be adding other values there as well.

Task Manager on the Finance side
Our district would like to be able to use Task Manager on the Finance side. It is very popular on the Human Resources side.

HR, Utilities, Mass Add Transactions
It would be extremely helpful to be able to Mass Add Transactions by a date range not just one day at a time for groups of employees. If you would please add this it would save us a lot of time entering time off allocations and used time off.
