Import Insurance Deduction/Benefit Changes
I would like the ability to import employee insurance deduction/benefit changes in Skyward. Mass processes in PaC are inefficient.

We have the Payroll Import/Export and Generic Imports/Exports that should allow for you to import employee insurance deduction/benefit changes in Skyward. You do not need to be using Insurance Tracking in order to access this functionality. We suggest submitting a Service Call for assistance in getting started. Please have the format you are using available so the rep is get started with you right away.

Re-print expense reimbursement
It would be nice if you could re-print the expense reimbursement invoice after it has been moved to history. Currently we can "view" the reimbursement but there is no great way to re-print the reimbursement invoice looking the same.

Would like to save parameter sets in data mining
Why is there no way to save specific parameters in the Web Data Mining? This makes running reports in WEB very inefficient.
2 votesBudgetary Data Mining under “Runtime Report Setup” offers the option to “Change setup for this run and save setup” which creates and saves separate reports with all the selected parameters. You can even run multiple reports at the same time.
If your not using Budgetary Data Mining, which please describe which Data Mining you are using so we can better understand this request.

change the default setting on Create Prenotification download file
Change the default setting from no to yes where you are asked if you want to exclude inactive employees. It is illogical that you would default that setting to NO.

Show visual of account number and balance in PO approval, like the Account Management side.
There is a visual showing the Account and a pie chart in the Account Management side for PO approvals. In SBAA for the PO approval, there is no such visual available, making it take considerable more time to see the account that is used as well as a balance available. Please consider adding a similar visual to the SBAA PO approval system.

vendor approval
Can we have the option to have multiple vendor approvals like time offs. When one person approves a vendor, it can then go to another person and does not get approved until it has been approved by all approvers. Currently, if any approvers approve, it is goes through. The reason is because we require our individual vendors to go through a background check. We would like our HR department to approve the vendors so we know they passed the background requirements before the vendor is approved.

Security to the change order status in Ecommerce unordered PO's
I would like to request for enhancement to add some sort of security to prevent anyone hitting the button for the change order status from the unordered PO only screen in Ecommerce---we lose the PO and cant find it...and then have to start all over.and delete and re-enter..in the future

KS - ADD LINK IN EMAIL FOR TRUE TIME APPROVAL
I was told that the email notification for True Time Timesheet approval is hardcoded and cannot be modified - which is fine - BUT....it would be most helpful if there was a LINK to click on in the email that would take you to the approval page (like there is for time off requests). Since we don't have student - certified staff do not stay in Skyward - they only get in when they get notified that they have something pending.

Vendor Sort by Category
Would like to be able to add a category to vendors so we can sort by plumber or t-shirts or office supplies or etc. This can be a District created field. We just need a category drop down in Vendor Browse.

W-4 2020
The system should now be updated so the default for new employees should be with the W-4 for 2020 as Single with no adjustments. It shouldn't have the prior year defaults and require us to to click on 2020 or after W-4 for every new person going forward. I thought no changes were going to be allowed in the system for prior to the 2020 W-4 form. It should be switched at this point to default to 2020 info and just leave the prior info as viewing if not changed to 2020.

Payroll Reports in Web need option to add the PAC reports
There are a lot of account distribution reports that we have set up in PAC and use every payroll but are not seeing those reports in Web. The only way it seems to add those reports is to add them manually. I understand there are additional options but could there be something set up to pull in those reports and just add the additional options that are needed.

True Time - Enforce Minimum Out To Lunch Timeframe
In Timekeeping rules, it would be helpful if there was an option to set a minimum time for Out To Lunch. An option already exists that checks time out to lunch for conversion back to an IN punch, but there are no options available to not permit employees to punch back in until they have taken their full lunch break.
This oversight is costing our district quite a bit in overtime/comp time due to employees failing to take their mandatory 30 minute lunch and accruing additional time throughout the week.

What employees see when looking at Time Sheet History
An employee is questioning why his Double time hours were not showing on his time sheet history. The time sheet clearly shows that he should be paid for 7 hours of Double Time for hours worked on Sunday and 7.5 hours of half time that he worked on other days during the week. However, when he looks at his history of the time sheet (while it is waiting for payroll) it is only showing the time and 1/2 hours and not the double time. This is the response I received from Skyward on this issue:

Add Background date for Wis Licenses to Certification Detail Information or Name Information field in Employee Letter
DPI requires a background check every five years for lifetime licenses. It would be nice to be able to add that field to letters we post to employees in Employee Access ~ so that they can verify/track that date on their contract letter.

Option to auto create vendor on employee add - individually not mass
I would like to see an option when creating a new employee to create a vendor at the same time for that employee. However I don't want this to be a system wide/mass add option. We don't want to add every employee as a vendor, just certain ones. A check box during the employee creation would be great. This would trigger the vendor to be created and carryover ACH info to vendor profile automatically.

Other Ways to Search for a PO or Requisition
Add other ways to search for PO's and Req's besides the PO or Req number. Specifically by vendor, amount or date span. Most of our users (other than our AP person) are looking for a PO to view what was ordered so they can reorder, to know a price, to know a quantity, to find out an account number, etc. but they don't know the PO or Req# to search for it in Skyward.

Save eCommerce Requisitions
Give the ability to save eCommerce Requisitions once started. Sometimes you will be entering an eCommerce order and you will have 50 things that you want to get. Once you hit the submit button it will crash and you loose everything. It would also be nice if you could save it that you could come back and make any changes for example you decided you only need 5 boxes of pens instead of 10. If you had the ability to edit, it would take about 20 seconds instead of 20 minutes to fix.

Choose a date span for Summary Reports
Currently we can only choose a date span when running a data mining report if it is a Detailed Report. We need to be able to run a Summary Report by date span too.
