  1. Professional Development Request - option to display WI PI 34 Standards or no

    We are Using Professional Development to track our Talent Development credits locally for moving along the matrix - it would be nice to be able to not display the WI PI34 standards on the Pre-Approval credit request as it does not apply to how we are using this part of the module.

  2. Payroll Variance Report

    In the "Post-Verification" section of payroll there should be a report that shows variances. For example it should compare the gross or net between the last payroll and the current payroll.

    Each employee should be on their own line and you should be able to choose what you see on the report so you can choose to look at: net, gross, specific deductions, or specific benefits. Would help pin-point errors quickly without having to print 2 reports and having to manually compare the reports.

  3. Employee Access -Employee Deductions and Benefits

    I wish there was a way for employees to view their current deductions and benefits in Employee Access outside of having to always look at their last paycheck. This could be under Employee Access, Employee Information, Payroll. There could be a deductions section and a benefits section. Then if this was possible, we could pull this into our Open Enrollment custom forms each year as that is a popular question from employees during this time, what benefits do I currently have?

  4. Vendor Contract - auto add to Requisition

    If a vendor only has 1 contract under their profile, we would like to see that contract auto-added to the requisition.

  5. Add Vendor Address information as Option on Check Reconciliation Report

    Check Reconciliation > Reports > Report by Bank has not to sequence by Payee Key. If this option is selection, add additional option to include Payee Address information to the report. This report should drop into Excel with the address information usable on a mail merge. This would allow those who need to follow up on specific checks that have not been cashed to use the file to create mail merge documents to notify the vendors.

    In FM/Account Management, Project/Grant Management Reports, Account Activity Report, it doesn't have the option to export to Excel. Could there be an option to add it like the rest of the data mining reports? Thank you.

  7. Importing of Notes in Fixed Assets

    It would be nice to be able to import notes in the Notes Tab of Fixed Asset as we add/change/inactivate assets.

  8. Time Off Detail Summary Report - remove GROUP subtotal from report

    Districts need the ability to just see the totals by Time Off Code. Summary allows that, but it automatically add a GROUP SUB TOTAL to the report. When dropped to Excel this extra sub totals has to be removed before the report is useful. Add a option to Detail Transactions Report to REMOVE the GROUP Sub Totals from the report.

  9. Cash Receipt Look Up

    Currently you can only search for a receipt by the post date or sort by the batch number. It would be nice to have a choice to search by the receipt number and not just the batch number.

  10. ACH Check Request Option

    Please allow the option for ACH Check Request for SBAA. We currently have several online payments that have to be entered as journal entries, which means the information is not being included in the vendor 1099 information.

    This functionality exists in Qmlativ, where Activity Accounting (aka SBAA in SMS 2.0) mirrors most everything in Core Finance including eCommerce, Credit Cards, and ACH.

    Some alternative solutions to try in SMS 2.0 include:
    1. Run ACH payments through Accounts Payable.
    2. Physically run a check in lieu of the ACH payment.
    3. Continue to post the journal entries (not recommended by Skyward) and alter the 1099 reporting at the end of the year.

  12. Select Multiple Purchase Orders to Print at same time

    It would be helpful to be able to highlight multiple lines/multiple purchase orders in the purchase order entry screen and print several PO's at the same time. I know there is a utility to print multiple purchase orders, but it would be much easier to be able to highlight the PO's that you want and hit the print button rather than fumbling around look for the utility and then trying to narrow it down to just the handful that you want to print. It would save a lot of time if you could just select multiple and print them at…

  13. Allow applicants to change their references with every new application.

    Right now applicants can only change their references after so many days ( a year I believe) but many request to be able to change them for each application they submit. I get that request often and I can see where if they are applying for different types of jobs they may want to use different references or they may have gotten a better reference since their last application. The applicant should be able to change - update references whenever they want to.

  14. Add a level to restrict users the ability to delete attachments.

    Would it be possible to adjust a level or create another level that would allow users to Add attachments, but not Delete. I previously work for a district that this was an audit finding. As users had the ability to gets back into the item and accidently deletes or remove a document, once the item was approved in workflow. This is a risk and doesn't ensure accurate documentation remains on a transaction.

  15. Limit custom reports under Employee Profile to those assigned to that employee

    Currently under Employee Profile, the Custom Forms tab shows all active forms, rather than the forms assigned to that particular employee. It is my understanding that under Skyward Student, there is a setting that when selected, only shows custom forms applicable to that person. It would be very helpful if we had the same option for Employee Profile.

    We’ve looked into this request and are unable to consider it at this time.

    Reports that have stacked headers and stacked detail lines do not drop to excel gracefully. One option that is used by some users is filtering the browse and dumping those results to excel.

    This product idea will remain open.

  19. Creating a Full-Time/Part-Time checkbox

    If we could add a full-time and part-time checkbox next to the "Faculty" checkbox on the personnel tab under the employee profile, this would help with reporting.

  20. Augmentation of the current API dataset which is available

    We would like to leverage an API to facilitate our identity automation lifecycle. Currently we are using a direct DB connection which works fine, however our IAM vendor would like to pivot to an API based system. There is data available on the Student side, but not much (if any) seemingly available on the HR/Finance side.
