Add Ability to Schedule Direct Deposit Email Processing
Currently there is no option to schedule the Direct Deposit Email that goes out on pay day. The ability to schedule this a few days before would be beneficial so staff who are on vacation and or out sick do not have to log in to send the email the morning of payroll.
16 votesHello! Scheduling Direct Deposit emails is current functionality. You can set this up two different ways. If you just sent your Direct Deposit emails recently, you can go into “My Print Queue” (upper right hand corner of your screen). You will see a Report Description with “Send Direct Deposit Emails”. Highlight the row by clicking on it and then click on Tasks on the right hand side. You will then click on Schedule This, which will prompt you to choose which days of the week, months of the year, etc. to run the scheduled task. Once you are finished click Save. If you do not have any recent Direct Deposit Emails sent, once you run your next Payroll and you send the notification you will have the same record in your Print Queue which will allow you to setup your scheduled task with the same steps above. My Employee's Time Off Per Week - Widget
It looks like currently the My Employee's TIme Off Per Week widget is only programmed to look at individuals directly under the current supervisor and not the individuals underneath the people below the individuals.
Our time off requests in Skyward first go the Payroll Secretary, then the Administrator. At this time, only the Secretary has access to see all staff in their building via a quick glance of My Employee's Time Off Per Week. It would be helpful if Administrators could see all staff that they complete an approval for within the My Employee's Time Off Per Week widget (not…

Attachments Added to Receiving should follow into AP and show attached to invoice as well
If an invoice is attached in the Receiving Record, then once you update Pending Receiving in Accounts Payable then the attachment should follow. This way you can see the attachment if you are looking at the invoices or the PO. Right now it's just seen as an attachment to the PO. If you attach the invoice into Invoice Entry and not Receiving then you only see the attachment when looking at the invoices and it's not attached to the PO. We need it seen in both places.

Data Mining Cleanup Utility
Can we add a utility to cleanup data mining reports in the Business Suite (i.e. Employee, Budget, etc.) The Student database has this utility, already, in Skyward Contact Access/Security/Setup/Utilities.

SBAA Report for Today
Be able use the Today report at the entity level in Reports for Account Ledger and Account Activity using the Today (current day) in the Date Selection box to pull reports for any Cash Receipts or Journal Entries.

Web Invoice Processing retention field
Have the ability to retain an account number in the Web invoice entry. PAC would automatically pop up the last used number so if I am entering 20 food service invoices I don't have to re-type the same account number 20 times.

Aging purchase order report
I would like a purchase order aging report. I would like a report with the purchase order date on the report. The report would allow us to review which purchase orders remain open 30, 45, or 60+ similar to a report a vendor sends regarding invoices that have not been paid. The purchase order has a PO date on it when it prints.

Send Advice of Deposit notices to multiple vendor contacts
In this day of cyber financial attacks, it would be helpful to be able to designate at least 2 individuals who will receive advice of deposit notices. Perhaps this feature would help mitigate malicious intent?

Implement wildcard search capability
Implement a "wildcard" search feature when using Filters in Data Mining and basically throughout the entire system. I'd like to be able to find any Student Fees records with a Billing Description that "contains" the word "child" - upper/lower/mixed case.

ALL SKYWARD PRESET REPORTS SHOULD INCLUDE THE EMPLOYEE ID/NAMEID
Every preset report should automatically include either the employee ID or NameKey (as long as they are consistent). Some reports have the name key. Some reports are LFM, some are Last Name, First, Middle in separate columns with no employee ID. I will use the Time Off Tracker as an example. It defaults with all three names in separate columns. I find myself constantly pulling a data mining reports and running VLOOKUP to add an employee ID or employee type to a report. How about some consistency? The SMS 2.0 strategy behind canned reports was that each report was built with input from customers on what they wanted and needed at that time. The benefit to that strategy was that each report was designed in such a way that is was unique to that area.
As times have changed it has come at the cost of consistency across the system. This strategy was something Skyward shifted with our Qmlativ product where we have one stop shop for Report Management with a Report Designer and a Data Mining Designer.
Do you have specific reports that you’d like updated with a NameKey option in the parameters?

Develop full-service HR module
Develop option to upload documents to an employee HR File (regular & confidential). Allow for user to set up sections to categories in which to file paperwork (certificates, training, evaluations, benefits, etc). Include ability to allow supervisor to access specific sections (evaluations, trainings). Would also like to have employee be able to access specific portions of file (evaluations, training).
Also incorporate on-boarding section to move from Fast Track into benefits enrollment.

Employee Time Off Org Chart
Org Chart in Skyward desperately needs report features and Utilities. We discovered an employee had been selected as a Self Approval and Final Approval on Time Off Org Chart, therefore bypassing the Supervisor and was allowed to enter negative time off for time they did not have. I did a service call and was told there are no reports to find out if other employees had this issue. I clicked on 900+ employees to discover 2 additional employees had this same issue. There truly needs to be better support for Org Chart.

Purchase Orders
There needs to be a better way to process purchase orders. The first improvement I would make is when you're batching purchase orders. When reviewing the Report of Batch POs, Reversals it would be nice if that report would indicate if the order will be an ecommerce or submitted via email once processed. The second improvement I would suggest is that when submitting a purchase order there should be a required indicator of whether the order will be placed by the person submitting the requisition or by the person processing the batch. Ability To Tie Specific Time Off Codes to Specific Pay Codes
We would like the ability to connect specific time off codes to specific pay codes. Time off populates into timesheets, and from the timesheet it flows into payroll. With past employers, sick/vacation/personal time taken showed up on employees pay stubs. This would also be helpful when someone received a different rate of pay for time off. This became most evident and problematic with COVID absences, but it would be helpful in VARIOUS ways that have nothing to do with COVID. Offer Void Process in Middle of A Check Run WF\AP\PP\CR\CR
If you are doing a multiple check check run (20 checks as an example) & the last 3 (or any) jam or print wrong, you should have an option within the process to pick checks that need to be voided & reprinted with new check #'s. Not having to finalize the check run & then going to Quick Void.

True Time = Updating time sheets into seperate Worksheet Selections
Within True Time = when UPDATING time sheets, if there was a button where we could individually HOLD or SELECT a specific time sheet to go into a different WORKSHEET SELECTION. For example, I am pulling in teachers time sheets and I want a couple of this group to go into a different worksheet because they need to be paid on a different date then the rest.

Add column to the time-off transactions to show the day of the week.
When adding a time-off transaction and when viewing the employee time-off transaction data, it would be nice to also see the day of the week requested. It would possibly help employees entering an incorrect date by being another reminder of the day they are entering. It would also be nice for historical purposes when reviewing patterns in time-off requests (for example, an employee who is always sick on Friday).

Update Retirement Hour Totals Automatically
If you make changes in the Retirement "Details Hours" for an employee it should automatically update the "Monthly Info" and the "Annual Info". If you update at a higher level, for example the monthly tab, then it should automatically update the Annual and then give you a warning reminding you to fix it in the "Detailed Hours" section. This would really help with keeping the data consistent and stop redundancies in entering corrections.

Ability to Look Up PO's y Vendor Name
Currently the only way to search for a PO is by the PO#. There are many times we don't know the PO# and only the vendor name. So it would be helpful to be able to search for a PO by the vendor name in each PO group.
