  1. Warning Message during report card runs

    Have a Warning Message pop up when a report card run is chosen if the "Post to Family Access" or "Post to Student Portfolio" boxes are marked. This will help eliminate duplicate report cards posted to the student portfolio.

  2. Custom Report Cards

    We would like the ability to print a blank standards based custom report card instead of having to pull in a test student and then having to redact the confidential information along with all the grades that appear if we are printing after the first grading term. Our district has a custom report card for each grade level so it takes some time to do this.

  3. A report for grades that shows the number of courses failed by grade level and to be able to compare between 2 school years.

    A report in Skyward that shows the number of courses failed by grade level? By course? I'm not looking for specific names. I need to be able to compare those numbers between last year and this year.
    Specifically comparing quarters from year to year (T1, T2, T3, T4)
    and semester Fall FIN and Spring FIN

  4. Report for grades not transferred in by teachers

    Due to Covid-19 and the massive amount of students changing their courses due to changes in enrollment from brick-and-mortar to virtual and then back. We are unable to keep up with monitoring the teachers transferring grades into the new course without a report to aid the Administrators that flags the teachers who are not transferring grades. This is resulting in massive amounts of grade changes and corrections and reprinting of report cards.   5. Selected Grades Report: add Student email and parent email address fields.

    Would like to have Student emaill address and parent email address to the Selected grades report to make it easier to identity who to contact when we run the report. We run this for a D/F list and then contact the parent.

  6. Custom Report Card Teacher Name Print Option

    With the requirement for smaller class sizes, the setup for grade level teachers has changed. There is still the traditional one-teacher classroom, but now there is also a cohort group of students who have a different teacher for every curriculum area. To accommodate this on the Standards Custom Report Card, the subject object is set to print the teacher/class with the subject area grades. There can also be team teaching, so the subject object needs to be set to print "All Teachers." However, sometimese EL and SPED teachers have access to enter grades in the primary teacher's grade book, so…

    Several of our schools have been asking for the ability to email report cards in a mass process. They have been posting online but less and less parents are going into Family Access to check so they are considering going back to a mailed report card.

  8. Unofficial transcript available in Family Access

    It would be great if we could run a transcript that had unofficial as a watermark that could be posted - either in reports where they run a current one, or at the least one we could run like our report cards and post to the portfolio. This would make the end of the year scholarship, as well as other things along the way, smoother for our Student Services.

  9. Custom Report Card Colors and background

    Currently there are no options for changing the colors used for shading in the custom report cards. Report cards could be improved if shading is allowed in more than one color and options to change color with RGB code or HEXA-Decimal code. I would like to see changing colors / backgrounds option of any boxes / object in custom report cards.

  10. Open Gradebook for Specific Teachers

    After grades are posted, we often have students who were unable to complete the final on time. When they do complete it, I have to open the entire gradebook so they can put it in and have the grade recalculate. It would be nice if we could open it for just those teachers. Doing it for every teacher creates a lot of opening and closing.

  12. Renaming Standards Report Cards posted to Family Access

    When publishing a standards report card to the Portfolio tab it would be helpful to be able to rename it. We can rename the file when posting the Custom District Report Card (Office>grading>Report Cards>reports>Custom District Report Cards-CD), but not when posting a basic report card (Office>grading>report cards>reports>basic report card - BR). This customization makes it very helpful for parents to quickly see what term/year the report card is for when they view the portfolio in Skyward Family Access.   13. Language Translation

    Currently there is only an area for Spanish translation of report cards and discipline. It would be helpful if there were many different columns (perhaps a dropdown list) that we could designate for different language translations. (ex French, Chinese, etc)

  14. Seamless Transfer of Grades within Entity When Student Transfers Sections/Classes

    The current 5 options process to transfer grades to a new class/section is tedious at best. Teachers do not have the time to individually select each assignment for kids when they transfer to them. When a student transfers within the same entity these grades should automatically move over or calculate with the combined grades of the new class.

  15. Add CTE Certifications to transcript.

    I currently use custom transcripts and I recently saw on a new student's transcript from a previous school a box where CTE Certifications could be listed. Since the state of Kansas recently added this to the student data they collect and this is a separate tab for a student is there a way this can be added to our transcripts? Maybe an element similar to the test box that can be selected so ACT or PSAT scores can be added. I have these already on my transcript.

  17. Vehicle info input during online registration

    We ask for vehicle info for parking permits during online registration. All info has to go in to a custom form field and imported to the vehicle area. Making this available directly to registration as an update option would streamline the process. Parents would be able to enter the make/model color and plate number for us updateing that area and security would have access to it immediately not waiting for an import.

  18. Auto email progress reports

    Schools would like a way to automatically email progress reports based on select criteria such as grades, citizenship, gpa. eg. Schedule and send progress reports to all students who are receiving at least one 'F' grade in the current gradebook.

  19. Grade Percentages added to Grade Cards

    I am making a request that Grade Percentages be made available to print on grade cards-District & Custom. I do NOT want to request this as a custom change for our district only. I would like to see this added for ALL Skyward users. When I asked during our 1st year of using Skyward I was told that percentages weren't needed on grade cards.   20. allow term adjustments to be calculated into final

    We often use grade adjustments within term grade posting based on attendance and other expectations. It is rare that our teachers use the weighted grade option as that is very difficult to have a balance of equal points between grading terms. As I understand that is the only option to have the grade adjustments be calculated into the FG. (By the way we have semester/term grading). If a teacher makes (ex) a grade increase because a student was close to an A- that positivity should be then reflected in the students final grade. That is not currently the case. A…
