Hmbnd/Hospital Notification
Create a notification tool when line item has been entered into the hmbnd/hospital profile tab so the District Office can be notified when this area is used?

Schools should be able to view the attendance record of a student from a previous school just as they can view the discipline and the grades
The grades and discipline of the student are part of their record that follows them from building to building. However, attendance currently does not work the same way. The focus on truancy and chronic absenteeism make it mandatory to monitor for the year without having ease of access to attendance as they do the grades and discipline.

Attendance report showing a list of the day's attendance in the Skyward Mobile App
It would be great if we could access the attendance "entry by date" section through the Skyward App, or access to any other report that shows attendance for that given day. This came about while we were doing an Intruder Drill, and I was asked to account for any kids that were known absent today. I tried to do it by memory, but it would be really handy if I could pull a report on my phone to know for sure in case of an emergency where we have to evacuate the building.

For those students that have two last names, it doesn't even print the first name. It is my understanding that TX SR allows for 70 characters per name (first, middle and last). That needs to be longer to allow the first name to print.

Tardy Kiosk and In/Out minutes for state of IL
The check in times on the Tardy kiosk are not saved in the same place as the in/out minutes used for IL state ADA reporting. I know the state has changed lots of attendance requirements, but many districts are continuing with the ADA standards for attendance.
Since these are 2 different fields, it still requires staff to go into each student's record to input the check in time.
If there could be an option to have the tardy kiosk check in times tied to the in/out minutes for IL state reporting, I think more districts would use it.

attendance letters - excluding individual students
When creating 5 and 10 day attendance letters... is there a way to exclude individual students from generating a letter? For example we have a few students that are on the attendance letter list that have known issues that would make it to where they should not get an attendance 5 or 10 day letter. We have a kiddo at the burn center that is absent but the medical paperwork has not come in yet. Until then when we run the letters they would be on the list. Health office
I think it would be great if the nurse or the health office aid added an office visit and selected "keep in office" that it would automatically show up in the student's attendance for that hour. That way the teacher could see it right away without having to ask the person in charge of attendance to do it or requiring a call to the teacher.

attendance letter clone
In the attendance letter setup - it would be great to have a clone button. Many attendance letters that get scheduled get scheduled either multiple times (each semester or quarter) or for different thresholds (5, 10, 15, etc).
Knowing it is setup correctly and just needing to change the name, threshold or timeframe would make this area much more friendly to use. Lisa

Positive Attendance
We use Positive Attendance for students to check in to Student Services or the Health Center. This creates an attendance record so the teacher knows where they are. It would be great if these students could also "check out" when they are leaving that location so we can track where they are.

Add 'In Time' to Entry by Date Screen
We use the Entry by Date screen to monitor our attendance throughout the day. We also use the Tardy Kiosk. We are constantly opening student entries (Edit) to view their In Time. Adding the In Time would really improve efficiency of this browse.

Add Overwrite option for Tardy Kiosk under Absence Type Codes
Our time saved in writing passes and tracking late arrivals with the addition of the Tardy Kiosk has been significant. The time added by cleaning up excused absences that Kiosk has overridden has unfortunately replaced that saved time. We are having to review the entries several times a day.
Absence Type Codes currently have the config option to "Allow overwrite by Positive Attendance". Adding an option for "Do not allow overwrite by Tardy Kiosk" would allow us to mark our Excused and Exempt types, eliminating our constant review of entries.

Percent of Class Attendance Report Add Other ID
We are using this report to track students who are in need of making up hours to be in compliance for the 90% attendance rule in Texas. The other id would allow us to be sure that the correct student is being addressed. Also the ability to export the data in a spreadsheet format without having to convert the data from a .pdf would allow us to set it up on the job queue Other ID on report Export ability to .csv without converting it after it is run In Report area instead of a utility would be helpful.

Attendance Letters
When utilizing the attendance letter scheduling and updating the parameters for them, it would be beneficial to have the ability to eliminate class periods from which to count. Example: we would like to only count periods 1 and 3-5 for the automated letters.

Request for Multiple Calendars on Day Summary Repo
My request would be that instead of putting in a range of calendars that you be able to choose which calendars to use for the report. As a CTC we have multiple calendars for different schools different sessions etc. which are needed for state reporting and other purposes. It would be nice to incorporate multiple calendars onto one day summary report instead of having to run multiple reports in order to catch all the calendars.

Add Student Schedule to the Attendance Tab Page
When you go to a student's portfolio Attendance tab and click Add to take attendance for a student it would be extremely helpful to have the student's schedule appear at the bottom of this window/page and/or have the course descriptions under each period. (For example O1 - English 9) Without the course names on the Attendance Tab page users need to open a new window pull up the student's schedule and take attendance with both pages side-by-side. Option to Run Scheduled Tasks Only on School Days
Our attendance office runs various reports and tasks but only on school days. Please consider an option of being able to run scheduled tasks only on days that are scheduled days of school. When these tasks run on weekdays that do not have school they create unnecessary reports and in the case of automatically marking students absent like we do in Positive Attendance she needs to remove those absences so parents don't get phone calls for absences on days we don't have school. Positive Attendance Enhancements
Just started using PA in our district for some little things and have been thinking of ways to make it better.
Have teachers be able to see a student's PA check in location in their grade book for their class period(s). This would be useful for cases where a student is absent from class it would be good to know if the student went to an approved location for that teachers class or not.

Need to Be able to have 2 different codes
Need to have 2 codes for tardy Kiosk. One generic code for tardy arriving and one generic code for leaving students. Skyward only provides 1 tardy kiosk code for entire district. We want to be able to track by entity and to have 2 machines with 2 different codes in entity. The positive attendance piece does not work for this as it resets with every attendance mod within the school day.
