Allow mutiple career plan templates per student
Problem: It is impossible to build templates that cover every student's 4 year plan as the career plan module is currently designed. The reason is that they may be taking an advanced math/science track and a core English track and any variety of endorsement option. Without pre-built templates this module is unusable by anyone but counselors who know the course guide inside and out.
Solution: Make the career plan templates multi-select when you click Maintain. We could then build an advanced core and modified track for each of the core curriculum areas (Math Science Social Studies and English) as well as templates for every type of endorsement option (STEM - Engineering STEM- Computer Science etc.)
Counselors or parents/students could then select the combination of templates that best met their needs. Example: A student could have all of these applied to their career plan.

Add a multi-select option (checkboxes) on the Maintain Career Template screen so that multiple career plan templates could be selected and added to a student's career plan. The courses assigned to those templates would then quickly pre-fill the career plan.

Hi everyone! Great news, updates have been made that will now allow multiple Career Plan Templates to be assigned/selected for a student. The new functionality will work within the Student Profile>Career Plans tab, Family/Student Access, and the Copy Career Plan Template to Student utility. This update was completed with PR 3990065 and included in the October Addendum 5 release on 11/27/2019.
