Hi everyone, we have begun development updates to provide additional functionality to better track a student’s legal name when they identify with another name. An identity tab will be available within the Student profile where a student’s legal name information can be maintained and pulled from for state reporting needs. This will then allow the preferred name to be entered as the student’s profile name and be represented throughout the system. We will also be looking to provide options on report cards and transcripts to designate which name you’d like to print.

We were happy to see that the Method of Instruction and a date range are now available on the Class Roster Report (WS/OF/CS/RE/CR/CR)

YES PLEASE! Our attendance clerks are begging for this option. Teachers can see the student's MOI on their post attendance screen, but clerks cannot.

Yes! We need it for all of the following automated emails:
* When method of instruction has ended - on the end date for one MOI, would like to alert teachers of tomorrow's MOI record
* When a schedule change email goes out, would like to have MOI for the effective date of the schedule change to be an available field to insert.
* When entry alerts go out, would like to have MOI for the effective date of the entry date to be included.Mary Mitchem

Service ID is now visible as the last field on the Course Master > Course Details view, which is nice. It still needs to be visible on the Curriculum Master.

After our discussion about this issue by phone with TSUG and Skyward, I wanted to add a few more thoughts. I think we should be able to use the existing Curriculum Cluster area under Endorsements to be able to identify coherent sequences as well. Many times these overlap with existing curriculum clusters we've built for endorsements. Sometimes they do not, however, the curriculum cluster module itself allows you to identify the curriculums by all of the ranges and criteria listed above.
I think adding 2 checkboxes to the curriculum cluster itself would be helpful:

Used in CTE Coherent Sequence codingThey can be used in one area or both areas. We could then build any clusters we need for CTE Coherent Sequence that are not already built for endorsements and easily identify which are used in each area.
The benefit to using an existing module for this purpose is that we wouldn't have to do double work in setting up and maintaining the curriculum clusters we already have built for endorsements that overlap with the clusters we'd want to set up for CTE coherent sequences.
The other benefit is that this module already has the features requested for selecting courses by service ID, range, department, subject, etc.

Thank you for the feedback! With the release of June Addendum 9 (10/1/2020), PR 4495470 has added a Select All option within the header of each attendance option/column setup for teacher use on the Attendance by Name screen. With this, teachers can click on the link to mass apply the appropriate option to all students, make any minor modifications as needed, and save their class attendance.
In addition, PR 4506708 was completed in Addendum 9 to make the MOI column sortable. In the event you have Method of Instruction records set to differentiate these students, teachers can sort these students together.
I hope these new options assist teachers in their daily attendance entry, but please let us know any other feedback on the topic. Thank you!

Jacob, I've put in a ticket on this because I can see the identity tab now in Skyward but can't find any documentation on how it works and if we can customize what appears on display screens in Skyward vs. transcripts, state reporting, etc. We have different needs based on the area.
