Mass change default FamilyAccess Calendar display
I would like District Calendar Configuration to make changes to the Calendar in Family Access. I want to be able to change the default colors for events in the Family Access calendar, without having the guardians to manually change those on their own.

Add an option to request translation services when scheduling conferences
When scheduling conferences in Family Access we would like there to be an option to request translation services for conferences. We want access to translation services to be the norm and not something that families feel burdened to request. This would need to include spoke and sign language, and ideally the selection should be written in the language used by those needing the service.

Allow assignment groups to be visible by students in Family Access
It would be great if the students could see the Assignment Groups in Student/Family access. If a teacher organizes their grade book using assignment groups and has them sorted that way, it would be great if the students also saw it that way.

Change Family Access Users to be entity specific when not in District Entity.
When a staff member has access to one entity, they should not have the ability to access any parent, student, or teacher from the entire district.
Our secretaries assist parents, students, and teachers for a variety of areas from registration, trouble shooting in the gradebook, etc. Their access should include ONLY the entity they have access to, not the entire district. This is a privacy and security issue! Ability for parents to attachment documents such as Doctors Notes to Absence Request, or updated shot records to Health Info
It would be nice for the parents to have the ability to attach/upload documents into the Family Access center. The documents would then be attached to the student and stored in Skyward instead of microfiche.

Mobile ID Card - Make available to parents in Skyward Family Access mobile app
PLEASE make the Mobile ID Card for students available so that it can be enabled on the Family Access side for the Parent App! We need this for the ability to scan when parents come to pick up their students early or in the event of a reunification event as well as many other uses. Thank you!

Tech at Home --- Required Fields
We have a district with a High Free and Reduced Population. Families move around a lot -- so circumstance change on internet / computer access. There is a field in NSOE -- but we are unable to make it Required. We also opened up the fields in Returning Student Registration - but families bypass this. So now my data isn't correct for the new year as we put an end date in for last year.

Family Access Missing Assignments
When we get a new student in our school the assignments that were given prior to their enrollment show up as missing assignments. Parents/Students get confused or upset about the number of missing assignments that then show up. Past assignments should not show up for new students that enroll into a entity.

Family Access Username Sync to NameKey
Automatically update username for parents in family access when their name is changed and they are assigned a new namekey. This would help keep the namekey/username in sync.

Parents are asking to have a notification flag posted to the family access page that states if they have outstanding fees to pay and if so how much.

Other Name
It would be helpful for the "Other Name" to pull into more areas. We want to keep the legal name visible for State testing/report cards etc, but the family and the student should be able to see the new name in both family and student access. At the very least, when an "Other Name" is entered, it should be visible in Family and Student access.

Automated email notification when a new document is uploaded
It would be great to have an automated email notification sent to a selected staff member(s) when a parent uploads a new document to NSOE or Online Registration.

Provide more access for non-primary families
It's not right for schools to be put in the predicament of choosing one guardian over another to be "primary" in divorced family. Equal parental rights should have equal parental access in the system. I understand there may be cases where one guardian can overwrite another guardian's information on the student, but as long as that information is tracked and perhaps put through the pseudo-changes approval process, then it can be managed.

Guardian 1 and Guardian 2 should be able to set their own ranges for grading email notifications.
Parents have the capability to turn on/off grading email notifications. However, only guardian 1 is permitted to set the ranges. If the option is going to be offered to each parent, then each parent should be able to set their preferences. Mom may want to be notified every time her child receives a grade above 90, but dad/stepdad would only want to be notified when a grade of failing is received. Current set up is limiting parent participation in child's educational progress.

Expired Password Reset
It would be very helpful if the utility to Mass Generate Family Permissions/Passwords (WS\FA\FM\PS\UT\PP) would include the option to only reset expired passwords.
We send out letters yearly to families regarding their accounts then weekly as new students register through the school year. In this letter we include the initial login and password (blank if the parent already changed). A number of parent accounts have expired passwords since elementaries typically hadn't logged in much, but with virtual schooling we have a lot more parents trying to log in.7 votes -

Google Translate used to work with Skyward. Since it no does, it would be great if Skyward built that feature into FA.

Star Time and End Time for On Line Features
Hello:
It would extremely helpful if along with the date for On Line Registrationa and On Line Forms, if there would be a start and stop TIME as well. There is some confusion when choosing the dates as to what time the on line applications will actually start and end or if an administrator wants the application "turned on" per se at 2:00 today and end on Friday at 4:00PM - we are are not able to manage those time requests.
Please advise.

Online Registration Grade Levels
When setting up online registration, we are allowed to limit forms by grade level, however, it is not taking into account the school year that the online registration is for.
For example, we are setting up for 20-21 school year and will be opening long before the 19-20 school year is completed.
The restrict forms for a grade level and grade level displayed on custom forms are using the 19-20 school year grade calculation.
