  1. Pulling Active only positions in DM

    Need the system to read behind the scenes if a person has terminated out of one job and started another in order for the one position the employee is currently active in is the only position that pulls through on a DM report. EXAMPLE: Employee started the year as custodian at Buck Lake Elem and terminated that assignment on 10/5/2020 and started a new position as a Building Maintenance Supervisor on 10/6/2020 through the end of the fiscal year. The only position that should pull through on a DM report of any kind is the Building Maintenance Supervisor position.

  2. vendor browse

    When you select a vendor to view in PAC that is inactive, It automatically takes you to the web. Apparently it is because you cannot inactivate a vendor in PAC, so if you are wanting to make any changes to the vendor profile (like reactivating) it has be be done in web. If I am trying to view it, I should be able to see it in PAC. I can understand if I hit the edit button that it would go to the web, but I am only selecting the vendor in the display screen.   3. Screener Access

    Have the ability to assign multiple screener groups to postings. Your group would be determined by your assignment/location. Part I - If you are an administrator you have xyz rights. If you are a secretary you have abc rights. Part II - then your access would only be to the site that your assignment is at.

    We have the ability of filtering by pay type in the access view. So part of the resources is there. In addition, we would like to keep the ability to manually add and remove access as deemed by the district per individual

  4. Add additional colums to the view.

    In using the Status Code view when looking at applications, the system will only allow you to view 10 columns. In addition, it will only allow you to dump into Excel 10 columns. Several of our applications have as many as 16 status codes assigned. We need either to see it in the view or at least be able to dump it to see the overall picture of the workflow processes on a grand scale.

  5. Allow leave balance in EA to be seen but no entering of leave requests

    I would like employees to see how much Emergency Paid Sick Leave they have left, but NOT have access to enter that leave.

    This might be useful for other types of leave too, i.e. only I can enter unpaid time off, but employees can not see that. Thank you!

    Thank you for submitting this idea! We suggest using options that exist in Time Off Setup Request Options.

    Navigate to Product Setup > Employee Access > Time Off Setup > Request Options tab, then edit, then uncheck the box “Allow Time Off request in group 9”

    Group 9 is a special code typically used for Time Off Requests like Emergency Sick Paid Leave.

  6. Time off hours should match FTE import/Employee Management

    It would be great if the time off hours would auto update to match each imports FTE instead of having to manually update for all of those who have changed each school year. Manually updating Insurance Tracker FTE as well as time off hours.

  7. Add a date range selection to the Credit Card Transaction Board Report

    The format of the Credit Card Transaction Board Report is a much cleaner report to give to our Board, but I am not able to pull the report for just the transactions that need approval at the monthly board meeting. There needs to be a date range selection, import date range selection, or batch number selection.

  8. Add to PO printing config the ability to have "Blanket PO" printed on hard copy

    If a PO is flagged as a "blanket po" to have that printed on the purchase order like it shows on the Req.

    Thank you for submitting this idea. We suggest that you try this instead:

    Navigate to Web Finance > Purchasing > Setup > Configuration > Purchase Order Printing Setup to define your PO Form Definition. There is a checkbox at the bottom of the page under “Additional Parameters” to “Print Notes with POs and Requisitions”. The Print Notes with PO’s and Requisitions will print any attached notes with it. So we recommend putting in an actual note that says Blanket PO.

    Next, navigate to Web Finance > Purchasing > Set Up > Configuration > Requisition Entry Setup Options > Requisition Entry Options to define your Requisition Entry Options.

    Finally, verify in System Admin > Financial Management > Financial Management Configuration that you have “Use Print Engine Purchase Orders” checked.

    This set up will allow you to print “Blanket PO” on a Purchase Order.

    We have set up groups for students in TA. We need the function to be able to run the reports that are in the system and filter them by the groups we have added. Example purple group, yellow group and virtual group to be able to run grade sheet reports.

  11. Add lockout warning to log in page

    Add a warning to the login page so employees know they will be locked out after 3 failed attempts. I get multiple requests to unlock accounts each day, because people don't know they will be locked out. They just keep trying over and over again. It would be nice if they were instructed to click the Forgot Password link.

  13. Snapshot of what a fund looked like based upon a specific date

    Our SBOA auditors have been asking us for a "snapshot" of our Federal Funds based upon a specific date of their choosing. This currently isn't possible because everything is like a living document in Skyward. So if we need to reproduce a data mining report from a prior date (say 8-31-19 for example) to verify something such as our reimbursement request for August expenditures will never be correct or the same as it was from 8-31-19 due to activity throughout the following months.   14. Data Mining Reports to Print Balances for More Than a 12 Month Span

    Currently all data mining reports allow you to ask it to print an unencumbered or unencumbered remaining balance. However, the remaining balance is only for the final year that you are asking the report to print for. So if you have a fund (which most of us do have funds that run more than 12 months) that runs July 1, 2018 and ends December 2019 (or later), your available balance will never be correct since your fund runs beyond the 12 month period.     Please add a space position as an option for part 2 of the login format, so user names can be first name, space, last name. Currently I have to manually add the space before emailing the account re-set link to new hires.

  16. Need to Remove Requirement for Gender Selection

    When entering a new employee, we are forced to assign a gender under the Personal Information tab. We have individuals who choose NOT to gender identify. The system will not let us pass unless we make a gender selection. We need to either be able to leave this blank or at the very least have the option to select other or no selection.

  19. Reports to Excel

    Excel is basically a data base management tool, with some cool features to allow making forms. The Excel download would be much more useful if it was not based on the paper report and instead just downloaded the requested data.

    For example, on a detailed operating system report, Column A lists the account number with several pieces of data across the columns showing budgets, balances, etc. It would be more useful to have the account number listed on all lines and no-subtotals. Then Excel can be used as it is designed to allow data manipulation through Pivot Tables or other…
