  1. Site based accounting in sub tracking

    The state of Illinois is requiring Site (School Building) based accounting. Trying to figure out a way to assign substitute Detail Account Distribution to be selected from the building. See attached. I see a select from Subbed for or a Select from Substitute Can you add a Select from Building ? Tie account distribution number to the building code

  3. Timekeeping Rule-Tracking hours only

    Right now as it stands for timekeeping rules that are set up to track hours only there is no way to get the time sheet back to edit after it's been approved by the supervisor. For example a coach has clocked in out for most of the week. The AD approves the time sheet. The coach then says they forgot to clock in out on Friday. Since the time keeping rule is set up to track hours only there is not a way to get those hours added in. I'd like to see a way to be able to get…

  4. VENDOR ACH SETUP

    We are moving in the direction of using more ACH processing and have come across the vendor "Alliant Energy" who requires certain criteria that Skyward is not able to support at this time. Per Aaron King (Service call: 3683187) the part that is not support is the Addenda 7 part of the attached form. Since we make weekly payments to this vendor (because of the various buildings with different due dates) we would like to see if something could be worked out to accommodate ACH processing.

  5. Inactivate funds

    We need to be able to in activate funds. The funds have changed over the years and so some are no longer used. Having them show up on our cash summary as zero's takes up unneeded space. It would be cleaner and more clear to the user if the funds could be inactivated and not show up on reports.

  6. Require a separate approval for certain vendors

    We would like to monitor purchases from a particular vendor Amazon. By having an approval by vendor we can approve prior to the purchase regardless of the dollar amount of the purchase. Without this enhancement we either don't have prior authorization for the purchase or we have to approve all purchase orders (which is not currently a requirement for our district). This would put a significant burden on our Purchasing Department. Staff consistently purchase items from Amazon that are not necessarily appropriate for school use (via pcard). We are adding Amazon as an ECommerce vendor so we can ensure these…

  7. Time Off - past/future

    Right now with time off an employee can request time off anytime in the past or future.
    1. Would it be possible to have a utility/setting that does not allow time off to be requested more than 30 days out??

    For 2 we suggest you try this instead: On the Time Off Codes Maintenance screen (WH\TO\PS\CO\TO) there is a checkbox that says “In Employee Access, calculate available time off as of the date of the request.”

  8. Auto update Digital Signature in Custom Forms

    I would like to see a utility when setting up custom forms that would allow the Digital Signature/Letter Acceptance to auto update into the "Contract Signed" tab in the Employee Assignment.

  9. Mass Delete Pay Code

    In the Mass Processing utility I'd like to see a way to mass delete a pay code with a particular account number even if it has history. We tend to have grants that pay salaries that are only good for a number of years. To be able to mass delete a number of pay codes at the same time would be helpful and time saving.

  10. Account Code Attached to Rate Code

    Be able to attach account codes to a Rate Code in subtracking rather than having to manually change each account code for a specific rate code. That way the correct account code will post automatically when using a particular rate code with no manual change necessary. This would save our district hours each month in manual changes.

  12. Force Period Pay Amount

    Payroll is currently modifying pay records to use the amounts desired as the current frequency override only provides a way to get close. Additionally if the assignment record is every exported again the manual adjustment must be made again to maintain the desired period pay amount. Need a field on assignment - payroll information to allow the entry of a period pay amount which would then be exported to payroll. The field would follow the same rules of reset for the current pay frequency override at the beginning of the next fiscal year. Attached word document shows an example person…

  13. FTP For fleid on Business

    For student the FLEID export is in Fed/State and allows to FTP directly from there to DOE. In Business it is in Employee / Utilities but does not have the feature to FTP. That something that might be in the works? FTP to state on business like student

  14. Batch # field to be 1-2 digits longer

    Nassau has requested a longer batch number field (at least 1-2 digits longer) Our runs are getting larger and we try to identify B1 APR30 I'd like to use B10 APR30 Right now we're identifying extra batches as B10APR30 So when researching batches (for auditors) there hasn't been total consistency.

  15. Display timesheet in Unsubmitted even if no hours

    Could it be set up so a timesheet is created even if there are no hours recorded and have it display in Unsubmitted Time Sheets for each week there is a workweek schedule? This would be for timekeeping rules that use Annualized Pay based on Employee’s Schedule (see attachment for screen shots). Currently the Unsubmitted Time Sheets area doesn’t show timesheets for weeks where the employee didn’t clock in for the entire week.   16. Allow Users to Attach Documents to Return Request

    Users should be able to attach documents and pictures to their return requests so that they can take a picture of a damaged item and include it as backup on the return request. Add an Attach button to this screen and allow users to upload documents and pictures.

    Add the word Allowances under the word Additional in employee access w4 information Less confusion - When employees view this screen they are confused as they think this should show the additional contributions (made to state or Federal) and not additional state allowances.

  19. Column Widths

    Users are having to scroll left-right excessively to receive POs. This screen should function like other areas and allow users to manipulate the column widths by percentages using the filter application. Allow the columns to be manipulated by percentages like other areas.

  20. Add comparative columns for amended budget

    When I do an amended budget I am limited on comparative columns (customize column 1 and 2) that would be meaningful (see attached Word doc). I am only able to select data from the prior two years. For an amended budget the current year activity and budget would be much more meaningful and should be added as an option for an amended budget. The negative impact of not making the change is the frustration that the budget entry isn't meaningful for an amended budget.
