  1. Credit Cards - Receipt attachment not following to AP Invoice entry / Vendor Profile

    Currently the credit card attachments do not follow through to the Vendor Profile once processes in AP. The only way you are able to see them are through the credit card activity. It would be helpful if the attachment would follow through to Accounts Payable invoice screen and then to the Vendor Profile so we wouldn't have to attach them manually. Thanks!

  2. Enhance the DOE Staff Survey 2 and 3 Build for the Salary Schedule Pay Type Extract Method

    We have employees on a Salary Matrix and have employees that we enter their salary (because of a Range not associated with a Salary Matrix in Skyward). In the DOE Staff Survey 2 and 3 Build, I continue getting over 50 employees with the error of "Grandfathered Sal Sched Pay Ind invalid" for the Staff Payroll Information, because I chose using "Skyward Pay Lane State Code". Need a way to accommodate the "Enter Salary Amount" when the Extract is running to put a crosswalk.

  3. Enhancing the "I" View of an Employee's Profile

    Currently the "I" view of an employee's profile does not match what the employee sees through Employee Access. This makes it difficult for our staff to assist employees in locating add-ons attached to their assignment.

    The only other way to see exactly what the employee sees is by Super Using in as the employee in Web Product Setup area.

    We would like the Add-On area to be added in the "I" view of employee profile. We would like it to match, word for word.

  4. Ability To Tie Specific Time Off Codes to Specific Pay Codes

    We would like the ability to connect specific time off codes to specific pay codes. Time off populates into timesheets, and from the timesheet it flows into payroll. With past employers, sick/vacation/personal time taken showed up on employees pay stubs. This would also be helpful when someone received a different rate of pay for time off. This became most evident and problematic with COVID absences, but it would be helpful in VARIOUS ways that have nothing to do with COVID.   5. Remove limit of 100 lines per journal entry on the web

    Currently, there is a limit of 100 lines per journal entry when importing on the web. Often times, we import journal entries in PaC because there is no limit on the number of lines in a journal entry when using PaC. It would be great to use the web to import larger journal entries.

    Skyward
    Would it be possible to have the credit card import recognize purchase order numbers? Currently, the import only recognizes account codes. Most of our purchases are associated with purchase orders. We would like the charges to attach to purchase orders so the amounts are reduced on the po. Is this possible?

  7. 1099 Type in SBAA

    Why is there only one option for 1099 type in SBAA: 1099NEC
    The drop down, as you can see from the attached, is only a blank space.
    We have several vendors that are not NEC types that our schools use.

  9. Insurance and fingerprinting information for vendors added to profile

    Would like to have a box for different insurance date (IE workers comp, liability and auto insurance). Also somewhere to put date of fingerprinting is done. Also to have the ability to pull the information in a report so when vendor packets need to be redone you do not have to go through every vendor.

    Please also add the Format tab like you have in Human Resources with the option to "Print all Information on one line per item" This would save a lot of time on the manipulation of the Current Value report. Please also add the ability to send all Fixed asset reports and Data Mining directly to Excel

  11. Vendor Payments Report > 1099 by SSN/EIN

    Allow us to sort the report in alphabetical order to match the 1099 report for more efficient double checking. Also, bold out the individual total amount lines for easier viewing. I understand we can send it to Excel, but it is harder to print everything we want to see on one page which means we need to format the report and when we do this the individual line item for invoice totals do not show up. Just make the original report user friendly in an efficient manner.

    On the Options for Receiving my 202x From W2 screen, consider adding more text to the second option. We'd like reminder to staff to make sure we have their correct address. Perhaps something like: "I want to receive a printed copy of my 202x Form W2 from my employer. My address is up-to-date in Skyward."

  13. Select Fields under Employee Access, Employee Profile, Employee for Administrative Team to view.

    I have the administrative team set up under employee access to view employee profile and emergency contact. Under the employee profile, the identification numbers appear and I would like to see an option that this would not be available for a group. There is no reason the administrative team needs this information and just one more way that fraud with social security numbers could happen. It is a great feature for all the other information available for them, but no need for the identification numbers. Please consider this and keep me updated on your decision.     How is your administrative team set up under security?
    What exactly would you like your Administrative Employees to view under Employee Profile, ex: which tabs, which fields?
    What fields can they currently view that you would like to hide?
    Have you already verified that these fields can’t be controlled under a confidentiality setting?
    Have you already submitted a Service Call to our Skyward Customer Consulting and Service Department to assist with setting this up?

  14. Florida Statute - Time Off Sick Leave Certification

    We have a FL statutory requirement that says all sick leave (either sick or personal) must be submitted and accompanied by a statement stating that the employee certifies they are sick or are using a personal day. We are currently satisfying this requirement via a paper form that is printed, signed, scanned, and attached to the submitted sick time off request - not ideal. I would like to request Skyward add an "I certify..." checkbox for sick/personal time off requests.   15. Add a warning message when a payroll includes ACA-related Additional Medicare Tax for earnings in excess of $200k.

    Adding a warning message when Additional Medicare Taxes are included in a payroll would greatly reduce the time spend auditing the Medicare deductions and benefits.

    We need some more information from you to best respond.

    Are you using an additional Medicare code during payroll? If so, why?

    The Medicare tax table is setup with the Medicare High Income Threshold of $200,000. The system will automatically combine all codes flagged as Medicare to meet the threshold.

    The system should process and combine if you have calculated Medicare and then also an amount type Medicare code used during payroll. During the calculation process you should receive a warning message the employee has met that threshold amount of $200,000.

    If you’re still having trouble, I’d suggest submitting a Service Call to our Customer Consulting and Support Center and a Representative will be able to review your settings and troubleshoot with you.

  16. SBAA Check Reconciliation

    We upload our SBAA checks into our banks Positive Pay system. One problem is the vendor name for individuals is not the same as the payee name. We have to manually convert the names as shown on the check.
    Could Skyward add an additional column in SBAA check reconciliation to show the "Payee Name"? The Payee Name column is in the check reconciliation for AP and Payroll checks.

  17. Student side talk to the AP Side

    We do lots of refunds to parents - especially this year when meals were free. It would be so much easier if you could pull up the parent name and address and add it to AP like do an employee.

    Thank you for submitting this idea request. We have two suggestions to help assist with paying parents and guardians via AP.

    First option: If you’re looking to pay a few parents or guardians, you can navigate to Financial Management > Vendor > Add a Vendor. When using a name that is already set up on the student side as an emergency contact and guardian, the system will find that person and allow you to add them as a vendor directly from that guardian.

    Second option: If you’re looking to pay many parents or guardians, we suggest using the Vendor Import. This can be found by navigating to Financial Management > Vendor > Product Setup > Utilities. The import file has a predefined import format and is tab delimited. It is a traditional import with a preview browse and verification report.

  18. Fix Print Screen

    If you are in the employee profile and try to print a time sheet from TrueTime the print screen does not work properly. It prints to the size of the window instead of the size of the information. For example if you have the window full screen it will print the time sheet very tiny. If you have the window shrunk so the it is the size of the timesheet it will print correctly. Please fix so that it auto resizes when you are trying to print so you don't end up with super tiny unreadable timesheet printouts. See attachment…

    Personnel Change Request Approval Process:

    1. Building Administrator submits a change request for a staff member (ex: pay, assignment, stipend, position, grade level, building, etc.)
    2. Human Resources receives change request
    3. Human Resources approves request
    4. Human Resources updates information in Employee Management
    5. Building Administrator and employee receives email notification regarding the change request with an effective date

  20. Reminder message for True Time users to submit their time card at the end of the week

    ...with the ability to schedule the reminder for a specific day of the week. Another reminder could be scheduled when they Punch In for the first time in the next work week to submit any prior work week's time sheets.

    With the 05.20.10.00.01 release which became available on 10/8/2020, notifications can be configured to display for Unsubmitted Time Sheets. The notification will be displayed as an alert in the header of the screen. The number of weeks to look back can also be configured. An option has been added to the Timekeeping Rule to display a notification to the employee when they have unsubmitted time sheets. Turn it on and enter a number of weeks.
