  1. Increase number of entries in the Employment History in Fast Track

    Our district is in great need of having the number of entries in the Employment History in the Fast Trak application open to additional entries as needed by the applicant. Currently, there are only four entries possible, and this forces applicants to decide which four, of the many they may have, to post for the position application. Additionally, this forces the use of an external form that can be difficult for the applicant to locate.     We recommend this alternative solution:
    (1) Add a new attachment for “Full Employment History” [WH\AD\FT\PP\PS\CO\AD]

    (2) Add it to the necessary attachment lists used in job listings. Note it will automagically alert all of the current applicants that they need to update their open applications [ WH\AD\FT\PP\PS\CO\AL]

    (3) To avoid confusion (optional), turn off the normal Employment History in the affected job listings [WH\AD\FT\PP\PB]

    (4) Other Skyward districts have done something similar. They’ve added a Fast Track Config with attachments where they link attachments through JavaScript [WH\AD\FT\MC\PS\CF\DM]

    (5) So that required attachments display at the footer for every applicant (If a district wants a specific Full Employment History Template, they could provide one to their applicants here).

    (6) An additional benefit to setting up Fast Track this way is that if attachments are used for employment history, that gets moved over to profile from Fast Track. Be sure to set…

  2. Augmentation of the current API dataset which is available

    We would like to leverage an API to facilitate our identity automation lifecycle. Currently we are using a direct DB connection which works fine, however our IAM vendor would like to pivot to an API based system. There is data available on the Student side, but not much (if any) seemingly available on the HR/Finance side.

  3. 3rd party time off import dates

    During the 3rd party import for substitute tracking/time off, you have the "Acquire Data Using Web Services" button. The dates in this section default to 01/01/1900 and 12/31/2999. I have no problem typing in the dates, but I have seen several people struggle trying to use the calendar and scroll through to the correct date....which could take a while since it is a long ways off. It would be nice if it just defaulted to the current date and let people change the dates as they need it.

  4. Allow Time Off to be allocated to 2 different pay codes

    Allow Time Off to be allocated to 2 different pay codes. Example: an employee that works as a bus driver and an aide will need time off for both pay codes and there is not great option to do this.

  5. Allow us to see if an emloyee has the true time button when setting them up

    There are so many things that need to be set up before an employee can see their True Time module. Even though we can see that employees appear in a Timekeeping rule it doesn't mean they have the ability to see/use the TT button . If we could see if they have it when we are in their profile under the blue circled i like we can use check estimator it would avoid having to log in as the employee and ensuring they have the button open to them.   6. allow setting to keep dates set in the PAC true time workweek

    It is frustrating to always set the current dates we are working with for a payroll period after we leave that area to correct a time sheet.
    If we could have the system keep the dates entered until we change them or have a preference setting to hold the dates that would be very helpful in efficency.

  7. Dependent report from insurance tracking enrollment data

    PLEASE include gender of the dependents in the report data. Names are not necessarily indicative of gender of the dependents and we need the data for other information / reports we create.

  8. Add "Approve and Re-route" option in invoice approval.

    Our A/P Specialist enters invoices, which then come to me for final approval. I would like to be able to route them to someone else for approval after I verify the accounting code.

    We suggest trying this alternative solution:

    Add everyone who needs to approve certain accounts as level 3 approvers and then send them an email whenever an account is used that one of them needs to approve so they can go look at the invoice.

    We will continue to research the feasibility of adding a more streamlined approve and re-route option to the system. We will keep this Idea open for continued support by the Skyward user community.

  9. Add a "Select All" option to the Invoice Approval screen.

    I sometimes have to approve 50+ invoices, and it's very time consuming to click each and every box.

  10. Data Mining True Time

    Need Time Sheet History, specifically Time sheet status to be available in data mining. This could then be used to compare with the Missing Timesheet report. The Timesheet History field should automatically pull the available statuses from Payroll > True Time > History. Specifically looking for Submitted/Unsubmitted/Denied, but others would be good as well.

  11. Employee Pseudo Approval Email Confirmations

    When approving or denying items in the Employee Pseudo Approval section, it would be great if an email was sent to the employee confirming the approval or showing them the reason for denial. The email could go to the employee's email address(es) on file.

  12. Tab function work across all accounts(same with Jornal Entries)

    when user is entering cash receipts...enters account strips and pressing tabs will select account and tab to details when using account strips with A however tab function doesn't work when using account strips with Type R or Type E.

    Think it may be a programmatic function of the tab function error message that says account doesn't exist but it does and you can see it in the drop down box ...just not selected when tab key is pressed.

  13. allow to override sending an email to employee and approver in True Time

    We have it set up that approvers receive email notification when a timesheet, TS, has been submitted and employee receives email notification when a TS is denied.
    Sometimes Payroll has to deny sheets to make corrections such as a pay code used or deny and resubmit so it catches the time off because employee submitted before the TO pulled in.
    In these cases we make all the changes, mostly because by the time we get to them there isn't a lot of time to wait for the employee to fix, resubmit, and have them re-approved. When the email goes out…

  14. Start date needs to print on missing timesheet reports if you can't change the programing

    We really, really need to be able to either have the system block employees from being reported with an unsubmitted timesheet or at a minimum have the start date of the current position printed on all missing timesheet reports.
    We end up wasting so much time going back to look at their start dates because they pull in with just being in the timekeeping group. Why couldn't the system even use the scheduled dates for the baseline of when to pull in?

    We’d specifically like to know what you have selected under Timesheet Statuses to include:

    Do you have the fourth option “Include timesheets that have no transactions” checked? If it is checked it will make it so the report is wide open.

    If you are running it wide open, what are your dates?

  16. Aging purchase order report

    I would like a purchase order aging report. I would like a report with the purchase order date on the report. The report would allow us to review which purchase orders remain open 30, 45, or 60+ similar to a report a vendor sends regarding invoices that have not been paid. The purchase order has a PO date on it when it prints.

  18. Re-open Credit Card transaction in batch status

    It would be nice if at the district office level, we could re-open/unlock a credit card transaction that someone has hit the "approved" button on. There are many times when someone makes a mistake and would like to fix, but only one of us in the district offices can do it through PAC on the back end. I would like to be able to open it back up for them to fix on the web side.

  19. Character Limit Increase for First and Middle Name Fields

    Increase character limits for first and middle name fields to 30 to match the character limit of last name. Currently they are limited to 15 characters and we are unable to enter the employee's full legal name.

    It would be great if we could customize character limits for fields, but if not, then an increase for these 2 fields would be great.

  20. Changing Employee Schedules

    In the employee profile, under the TrueTime tab, in Workweek Schedule. It would be helpful if when you made a change to the schedule it would ask you if you would like to make that change for just that week or if you would like it changed going forward. In my District I need to make changes to one specific week to get the Time off to import correctly. Currently to be able to do that I have to change the week I want and then go to the next week and change it back to the original schedule.
