  1. Employee Type Code Count

    In PAC there is a report that will generate employee type codes totals or a breakdown for active and inactive. This would be nice in WEB as well.

  2. Allow approvers to edit exp accts

    Allow invoice approvers to edit expense accounts. This would let them make any changes without having to send it back and forth multiple times. Something that would also be helpful is if the expense accounts could be shown as part of the "grid" that you can see without having to do a drop down.

  3. need fields added on position tab

    Since the view option was removed from the PAC side we are missing valuable information such as number of days the employee is working in the contract period. The calendar is listed however for those employees that start after the start of the year we can't see how many days without going into WEB, assignments, opening all... We used this information to figure retirement hours since the system doesn't know how to give 8 hours when an employee is 1.0 fte at 7.0 and 7.5 hours nor does it look at the total hours and divide over the number of…

  4. Ability to print batch reports in Data Mining

    When I run batch reports in data mining, I used to be able to print all in order of report in the batch. Now I have to open each one individually and print one at a time. We used to print these all as one big batch in PAC, but during some upgrade we lost that functionality. Now in PAC or web, we have to open each one individually and then print.

    PS\WF\AM\UT\AM (Account Merge): Add a way to do this via import. We have an extra six digits so we can't use the mass merge option, but even if that weren't the case, this still seems like a good area to do an import.

  7. Move columns are in all screens.

    It would be very helpful to be able to reorganize columns in all screens in order to get the information your district is looking for in order of importance to us. Another system I used was able to drag the columns around.

  8. Budget Requisition - School year display

    When employees are entered budget requisitions, it would be so helpful if it was possible that limit their access to certain school years. This is possible when entering purchasing requisitions so it would only make sense to do this in budget requisitions. Staff get so confused. I know it is a training issue but sometimes, training is just not enough.

  9. Contract Tab, have an option to update the pay record with the new contract paid start/stop dates at the bottom

    When updating a contract in the contract tab, there are options at the bottom to "Update Pay Records, Update Inactive Pay Records, Change Pay Record frequency to this frequency if different." There needs to be an option that says "Update pay record with contract start/stop dates." This would help with those that coach especially. The contract is updated, but if the pay record has last year's pay start/stop dates, it does not update. You have to manually put in the new paid start/stop dates.

  10. protect notes access by groups rather than by person

    Currently, staff can protect a note and only they can view it. I would like the option to give access of protected notes to groups of people rather than one person individually. Example: our middle school principal protects a note and student moves to high school. Now, no one can view that note and we have to call the middle school principal to unprotect it so that our high school principal can view it. WOuld be great if people in a specific group can view protected notes no matter who protected it.

    When a note is added to a specific PO, the note does not show up on the vendor tab (under notes), but attachments do. Can the notes show up like attachments do?

  12. Customized Subject Line and Body for awaiting approval emails

    Is there a way for the name of the employee submitting a transaction to show on Skyward email notifications?

    Currently, the only information received for "Credit Card transaction(s) awaiting approval" emails is the Date, Amount, and Where Used.

    Similarly, for "Check Request(s) awaiting approval" emails, would it be possible to include the username of the user who submitted the check request and/or the check request number ?

  13. Paid Special Request how it ties into the timesheet

    I would like to see it show up in a True Time timesheet, when someone has a request for Paid Special Request, that it show me WHAT option they chose tied to the PSR. Like it should say PSR, conference or PSR, PD hours. This is super confusing when trying to process timesheets. I would like it defined more within the timesheet itself.

  14. Print PO's with signature from PU/VO

    It takes far too many clicks to print a signature on just one PO. Right now the only way to do it without needing a signature password is to try from Mass Print PO's. If it has been approved there should be a way that when your print your purchase orders from View My Purchase Orders (PU/VO) that it shows the signature on them

  15. Add User ID to the "blue bar" at the top of reports

    We share a printer between 8-12 people in our office. We could be printing anything from GL lines in Data Mining to Check Registers in AP to Journal Entries or Cash Receipts, etc. When we print, if we don't make it to the printer in the next 5 seconds, our 'job' might end up mixed with someone else's. It would be helpful if there was a "User ID", much like there is a Date, Page number, Time, etc in the blue area at the top of the report.   17. Column for e-mail address in "My Employees Unsubmitted Time Sheets" screen

    Add a column for e-mail to the "My Employees Unsubmitted Time Sheets" screen for TT, so a Supervisor/Approver can e-mail an employee directly from this screen when they have an unsubmitted time sheet. This would make these notifications much quicker and helpful to be able to look back and see who received the reminder(s) when they fail to submit and don't get paid on time.

  19. Disable the ability to delete time off/leave request after submitting.

    It would be helpful if there was an option that would keep employees from deleting their requests after they have submitted them, or give me a notice that they did delete it. If they submit and then delete, the system gives no notification that it was deleted. As the person who arranges subs for the district, this is not good because I have already received the notice they need a sub, but no notice they no longer need one, which will result in a sub showing up for work when not needed.   20. Check Estimator on Employee Profile!!!

    Having a check estimator option somewhere on the employee profile screen to show what that employee's check will be based on pay/ded/ben BEFORE we run payroll. I'm surprised this isn't an option.

    Good Morning! Thanks for all the feedback, we appreciate it! There is a great option right now to get to the Check Estimator from Employee Profile. If you login to Skyward > Web Human Resources > Employee Profile and search for the employee you are looking to run the Check Estimator for, you can then click on the Blue Information Icon (i) next to the search bar and Ranges button. This will take you out to Employee Access, where you can click on the Check Estimator tab and run the Check Estimator process for that employee.
