Download application and all the attachments in one combined manner
Currently, when my team onboards someone, they have to pull all records out of FastTrack in order to preserve the application, cover letter, etc. by dragging it into the new hire’s OptiView file. For each
person, I’d estimate this takes about 20 minutes which is very significant when multiplied by the sheer number of hires we have coming through. If we were able to download the application and all the attachments in one combined manner, that would save a huge amount of time over the course of a year. Is there a way that Skyward can facilitate that happening?7 votes -
Post user training guides that are editable.
User guides should be posted to the PDC in a format that allows customization. For example, post the user guides in Word so that generic, multi purpose screenshots may be replaced by the organization's actual screenshots. Allow the customer to edit the user guide to best align with the organization's set-up. Most school districts seem to be creating individual training content for employees because the PDC delivered content is too generic. Thanks.

Add Option to Select Additional Assignments to End when Ending Main Assignment
Allow HR staff the option to end date additional assignments on an employee when they end the main assignment. Currently, staff has to go into each assignment to add an end date. Would be great to be able to select each assignment at once and add an end date to all.

Cash Recipts - please add the Created by field in Reports under WIP
Please add the capability to see who entered a WIP status cash receipt when you click on the reports. We are moving all of our locations from SBAA to Financial management and with no approval process in the cash receipts module, I need to verify the receipts and make budget revisions prior to posting the batch. The report tool is helpful however I have to manually write down which batch I want to select for in the report screen.

Employee Leave Tracking
We need a functionality within the system to track employee leaves (FMLA, child rearing, unpaid, intermittent, etc). This needs to be used as a communication system between multiple departments (the employees supervisor, technology, HR, payroll, etc).

Supplemental Pay / Other Earnings
We need a way for employees or supervisors to submit Other Earnings or Supplemental Pay electronically other than through spread sheet and paper form. This electronic process would need an approval process much like requisitions but should be payable through the payroll processing and not accounts payable. Right now other districts as well as our district have to use paper forms and convert any spreadsheet to CSV files to import into payroll. Very labor intensive for supervisors, administrators, and the payroll department.

Marking Employees Who Have A Medical Concern (Same as is done in the Student Management side)
We would like to be able to mark an employee's profile similar to the way it is done on the student side who has a medical concern (IE peanut allergy, pacemaker, diabetic). This will prompt our health service team to be able to quickly manage emergencies for our employees very much like we do for students

Custom Forms are a great option to store this information currently within Skyward. As the custom forms have their own tab within profile, you have the ability to send this out through Online Forms as well for them to complete in Employee Access and can then easily access the information.
You can also secure these online forms so only users with proper security are able to access this information and keep the medical history confidential.

We would like the ability to create a True Time report that allows us to see total hours WORKED (not paid/unpaid Time Off or Holidays) based on a particular Pay Code. Right now the True Time Detail Transaction Report does not allow us to total by Pay Code or filter for just hours worked.

Export Individual Staff Member
Allow for Individual export in case you have to make updates to only one staff member. Similar function to the Student Database.

We would like to see a link on the "Move to Profile" screen to show the "Reference Check".
We have general postings that include multiple assignments to be viewed by all Principals. In looking at the Move to Profile screen it only shows the ex: Teacher label. With the link revealing the Reference Check, this will give us the ability to see what the Principal has actually assigned to the applicant on the general posting.

Unlimited SKYBUILD for HR
Allow for an unlimited Skybuild to import/export any data from Employee Profile, Assignments, Payroll, Benefit Plan information, etc. Like it is currently in Finance and Student Management.

It would be nice if we could create reoccurring invoice template in WEB. Currently we can only create it in PAC but can Generate from Reoccurring in WEB.

Add Name ID to the Application Information in Employee Access|FastTrack Screener|Open Applications|View Application Information and Employee Access|FastTrack Screener|Applications by Position|View Applications|View Application Information. We are currently usingFileBound's Connect to store all of our HR documentation. We integrate on the Employee ID. This would allow our hiring managers to review current employee applicants' HR records without having to make a trip to the central office.

Need the History button turned into an audit report. Need the ability to list all changes to payroll records just like you can list changes from the vendor side.

Cash Receipts to Print Additional Dates
Currently cash receipts only print the "Receipt" Date on the final receipt. I believe that date pulls from the date on the detail page. We would like the option of entering a "deposit" date (at bank), an "entered" date (into Skyward and a "posting" or batch update date (in Skyward) on the detail page. It would be very helpful when looking at the printed receipt (like our auditors do) to have all of these dates available to anyone that needs to see it.
All of our schools make their bank deposit for TBR, Food Service and Child Care into one…

Pay multiple invoices on one check in SBAA
It would be fantastic if we could pay multiple purchase orders with one check in SBAA..... similar to what we can do on the Financial Management side. Currently, if I have 20 open purchase orders to Cardmember Services, I am writing 20 individual checks. Time-consuming and a waste of check stock. Thanks for your consideration.

TRS Reports
We need a report that we can run to tell us how many days & hours have been reported for any employee(s) per month or school year to TRS. TRS has identified some of our employees that had no days or hours reported for several months. I don't have a way to run a report to check on all employees. These hours are reported on RP20 & RP25 reports in different months. The days/hours are not in one single place.
