  1. Years of Experience

    We would like to make the years of service automatically update when a person hits their anniversary date. Example: Katie's first day is 7/1/22 we want the system to automatically update me to 1 year on 7/1/23. Or if my first day is 12/15/22 on 12/15/23 we want the system to automatically roll me to 1 year of service. This way we do not have to do the years of service roll every year.

  2. subtracking

    When our Substitutes cover for an Open Position and the Subbed For is left blank, can we have it also be blank in their Employee Access so when they view their Sub Transactions it does not say *INVALID KEY*? It looks so messy and has a negative tone by using the word INVALID. If that could be removed it would look so much cleaner and accurate. Thank you!

  3. Vendor Application System

    It would be a HUGE enhancement to have a vendor "application" system that worked the same way as FastTrack. A separate login page for vendors to enter their own information to register/apply with the district as a vendor that allow them to enter information into the fields from the Vendor Profile screens that we prescribe. That application could then be rolled to Vendor Profile, just as employment applications are rolled to Employee Profile. Vendors could have the ability to upload attachments (W-9s, contracts, red light/green light letters, etc.) and district staff could screen and approve the vendors' applications. If follow…

  4. Pennsylvania retirement

    Per the instructions for PA retirement processing of demographics, the address needs to be in LINE 3 instead of line 1. It auto-populates into line 1. Since the configuration for the retirement demographics requires line 3, can it be reconfigured so that it populates into line 3 so that every single employee does not need to be adjusted?

  5. Add Matching Custom Forms Tab Option to Employee Access

    The Custom Forms tab that was once a mess under Student Management continues to plague the Employee area of the Finance System. We have SO MANY different forms that the Custom Forms tab under Employee Profile is just a long disorganized list of scrolling and truncated names. Because we clone forms on an annual basis, this makes things messier because we then have to hover over them to make sure you're selecting the correct one.     This option does currently exist within the Business Suite.


    The option can be located through Web Human Resources > Employee > Setup > Configurations > Employee Configurations.


    You can then select Custom Forms and there will be the option "Display Custom Forms in Employee Profile as:"  Select the option "A browse" and save.


    You will then see the Active/Inactive tabs as you are expecting.

  6. Allow default email format to be in upper case

    We prefer to have all our HR data in all caps. Under PS\CA\SE\PS\CF\AU\ES, we can set the Default Email Format, but the part before the @ symbol is always lower-case. Please provide the option for the field to be Upper case, or let it use the case of the fields chosen (for example, we choose to use the First.Last in the email address, and even though the First and Last name fields are typed in all upper case, the Default Email Format pulls it in as lower-case).

  7. Please Update the Landing Page for FastTrack apply now button

    Please create two buttons on the apply page. One for New Users and One for Existing Applicants. What appears now is small font and hard to read. It should stand out and be clear on what to do based on whether you are new and want to apply now or you have an existing login.

  8. Allow a timeframe for references to review and update responses

    It would be beneficial for Skyward's Fast Track module to allow applicant references a window of opportunity to update their responses, especially since the system has great limitations on choosing references and/or allowing HR the ability to manage the references in any way. We often receive calls from users who accidentally pressed enter and submitted the reference several questions short of completion, and currently have no solution, as once submitted, we cannot purge the reference. Quite often, if the applicant really wanted that person as reference, we have to walk the applicant through submitting another reference out to the same…

  9. direct deposit email notification

    It would be nice to have the ability to schedule the direct deposit email notification for later in the day. I have to process my payroll by noon, but I don't want the email to be sent until after 5pm. Right now, it either gets sent at noon, when the check hasn't been deposited to their account yet, or it doesn't get sent at all. I know I can schedule it as a task, but that means that the email goes out first, and I don't want it to go out until the check has been deposited in their account…

  11. FastTrack Open Position Landing Page

    Currently, FastTrack only has two configuration options for viewing current job openings. Option 1 is a posting of all jobs in one continuous feed, and Option 2 is to use the Categorization conjuration allowing applicants to filter by categories created. The FUNCTIONALITY CHANGE would be for the ability to select both options and allow for the applicant to select either of the two options on the landing page under Search Current Job Openings and the two options would be VIEW all Job Openings or Use Categories to filter for Job Openings.

  12. Add Skyward login link to TrueTime emails notifying supervisors when an employee submits their timesheet.

    When a supervisor is emailed that there is a time off request waiting their approval, there is a link in the email that takes them to Skyward. That link is not in the email notifying the supervisor that their employee submitted a timesheet. Is it possible to get that link in the timesheet submitted email to the supervisor?

  15. PDF of PO

    I would like to be able to view a PDF of a PO that has been attached to an invoice from the 'view' hyperlink located next to the PO number within the invoice vs. having to manually attach each individual PO PDF to the invoice in the PO filing cabinet.

  16. Add an inactive box on paycodes

    Could you add an inactive box on paycodes so they do not appear in other areas of the software? I have many codes in history that are no longer being used and I don't want staff to use them and I don't want to see them in other areas of the software. I would like to still be able to run a report with the option to select inactive paycodes if needed.

  17. annual allocation description

    It would be nice if the annual allocation descriptions could be edited when allocating time off at the beginning of the year. Right now, it reads as "Annual Allocation - supplemental" but it's not supplemental time. I would rather the description say "Annual Allocation"

  18. Timesheets and pay code approvers

    When submitting timesheets and the employee has multiple approvers, the employee needs to select an approver for all Pay codes that are associated with the employee. Could the program be updated so that the employee only needs to choose an approver for the pay codes that are associated with that timesheet?

    While zip codes cannot be added through WF/AM, you can add them through Web Financial Management under Vendor > Codes > Zip Codes.  This will bring up the zip codes tables where you can freely add.  You will need at least level 3 security access for the add button to appear.

  20. survey reporting

    Could we update the system to recognize employee termination dates so employees not active in the current fiscal year DON'T get pulled for survey reporting? Many employees receive a bonus, sick pay or vacation leave in the fiscal year after they've retired/resigned, etc. Currently, these employees are pulling for survey when they don't need to be reported.
