Granular configuration for preferred names and gender identity in Student Management
While it's wonderful that Skyward 2.0 is developing methods to support Transgender and Gender Nonconforming students, this needs to be pushed further and make those options more granular. In instances where a transitioning student or gender nonconforming student does not feel yet comfortable notifying their family of their preferences, we should be able to comply with that request by restricting the display options in Family Access.

Great News! We have completed adding the functionality that allows district to control gender identity from displaying within Family Access. This update will be available with the Addendum 8 of the June Release, which will be going out on 9/12/2024. Thank you for all your votes and comments. The additional configuration option can be found within menu path PS\CA\ST\CF.
