Message Center - Text Option
Teachers would like to be able to communicate via text. More and more parents prefer a text over an email (or a phone call). In addition to this, many parents do not use/access their email. Please consider adding the option to text in Message Center.

I recently just had a conversation with our admins regarding this. It would be so helpful and efficient if there was an option to send a message as a text in Skyward. We use Skylert and it would be great if those parents who have the SMS fields checked could receive a text right from within the message center. Even if it just sent the subject line or something. Just a way to alert families via text they have a message.
