Student Cell Phone
It would be helpful to have a labeled spot for the student's cell phone number. There are several spots for parents' contact info, but nothing for the student's cell phone.

There is a place for student cell phone in Skyward but the problem we see is that when parents are in returning student registration, it is not clearly labeled as such.
We need a place in returning student registration to clearly indicate "Student Cell Phone." It appears on the general information 1a step but parents always think they need to put in the parent's cell there, so we can't rely on the data.

We use the Cellular area under General Information under the Profile Tab for a student's cell phone. All other information here pertains to the student. Parent/Guardian numbers and emails we use just the Family Tab.

We created a custom form that we made a available in Family Access for parents to provide their students cell. We then gather this data and import it into our call out system for emergency situations. Just an idea that may help your district...

On the student's general>profile tab, there is a spot for cell phone number. It is under the school email and home email fields.

We usually have another parent phone contact in the second phone field. One labeled Student Cell Phone would be very useful.

On the Profile Tab, there is now a 'Second Phone' field. We use that to track student cell phone numbers. However, this field does not export to Skylert.

Is there a place to put students phone numbers. Most every student now days has their own phone and sometimes when I call parents they tell me to call the child directly. It would be GREAT to have a Student Phone Number space in the student profile. And to have the number show up on the student page. Is this a possibility?
