Create Option to Not Create Letters If Emailed
Attendance Letters are currently generated for all students who meet the criteria. Parents of those students may have email addresses and can receive attendance emails. At this time there is no way to not generate letters for students whose parents will already get attendance emails and those letters must be manually pulled from the batch that was generated. It would be nice to be able to flag a student whose parents will receive emails to not generate an attendance letter.
Ultimately the system would not generate an attendance letter for students whose parents will receive an email. This could be as simple as setting a flag for either the student or the primary guardian to not generate a letter if an email address exists. Or perhaps attendance emails could be created as a type of attendance letter based on the existence of an email address.
