Update Skyward's PGP to be HB 5 Compliant
Based upon the state mandate for HB 5 that all students are required to have a PGP and adds that it must be available through the electronic student record system I am requesting and enhancement to the existing PGP in Skyward to be HB 5 compliant. Many districts have contracted with outside vendors to provide the 4-year plan part of the PGP however smaller districts do not have the financial means to afford an additional software and the programming staff to make it integrate with Skyward. Also the current PGP does not include the new Foundation Graduation plans with Endorsements and Pathways as declared by the student.
The expected outcome is for the PGP to be HB5 compliant by updating the current PGP to include the ability to update/edit the 4 year plan and include the new Graduation Plans. It should be accessible via Student & Family access along with the Endorsement & Pathway. The Counselor should be able to view and edit the PGP via Office and Student Profile as a part of their annual review with the student. There should be an option to print the document for manual signatures for the student & parent. The ability to print reports would be most helpful for determining courses requested to assist with Course Registration. Also in the Course Registration process there should be an option to create the Course Availability list or create Course Requests based upon the Endorsement and Pathway declared on the PGP.

Thank you for the feedback! These scenarios and requirements can be handled and tracked through the Endorsement and Career Plan modules. If you have any questions on these areas, please submit a service call to our Customer Service team.

This has been resolved with the Career Plan/Endorsement module but does not look like it was resolved in the user voice portal?
