Student Information Report
We generate a report in Students/Reports/Student Information to send home to Family 1 at the beginning of the school year in order to update their family info. So much easier for families to make minor changes rather than receive a blank form and enter data from scratch each year. It would be beneficial if we were able to print each family on it's own page rather than all families printing on same page. We have a child who lives with mom in Family 1, but dad wants his data in Skyward as Family 2 but doesn't want mom to know…

Parent Contact Log
Our counselors and administrators would like to have a parent contact log that shows the date, who contacted, contact type code and a reason note. This would just be a simple way to see when a parent was contacted and the reason. Currently, we are going to create this in a custom form but it would be better if it was part of the actual Skyward system.

Family/Emergency Contacts
When enter new students past students should not show up for Family and or emergency contact possibilities. Once they graduate and we can't use them for these fields they should not show up. If you can't do that then they need to be grayed out and or also have an ALERT come up saying your about to use a past student for this field do you want to continue. This is causing so many problems when registering students.

Utility to mass update grade card family to Family 1
When we update / correct family and family connections, it sometimes makes the connection of the family to the old report cards invalid. If we had a mass update utility, we could run it to set report cards to Family 1, whichever is the current valid family.

Please add the resident district to the address record. This field could be used for validation of the resident district on the student.

Automated email when families split - get divorced
It would be nice to have an email when families split or get divorced. We have multiple entities and it would be nice to know when this happens from another building.

Custody Calendar
Blended 50/50 families should be attached to a custody calendar that follows according to the agreement and can be automated to switch Family 1 and 2, much like scheduling or scheduled tasks. The days that mom has the child-she's family 1. The days dad has the child, he's family 1. Busing, emergency contacts, and attendance (and possibly discipline) should be able to be tracked according to the custody calendar. This would provide valuable information for intermediaries to see where the student thrives.

District to District Transfer
Allow for parent/guardian email addresses to be imported as part of a district to district transfer.

Mom's maiden name
This is a required field. It would be good to be able to import that information as we do birth information.

Criminal Background
It would be helpful if there was a box to enter if the person passed or failed their background checks along with the date the check was ran.
