  2. Need Another Option in Pseudo Approval

    When approving employee submitted address changes, if someone else is living at the same address, a window pops up asking if you want to change the address for all people at the current address. The only option is OK or cancel. We need an option to say NO, do not update other occupants of the address so we can approve just that person, not other household members.

  3. Default tax election

    When you are setting up a new employee, in the "Tax-W4" tab there is a checkbox that says "2020 or After W-4". It should now default to having that checkbox check since all new employees that are added should be with the new form at this point.

  4. Remove or Adjust the ability to print purchase orders with signature

    In the Purchasing Activity screen and View My Purchase Orders screen individuals have the ability to print the purchase order(s) with a signature by passing the Purchasing department. There are two places they can print the signed purchase order even if the Print button id removed.

    We've created a Skycoder import file. By importing this file you will be able to use Skycoder to hide the view button on print history when coming from all screens except for Purchase Order Entry.


    This file is not supported as an attachment type on Product Ideas, so Skyward will email the file directly.

  5. Purcahse Order "DO NOT DUPLICATE" ability to be printed on purchase orders

    Have a box/space that can/will read DO NOT DUPLICATE PURCHASE ORDERS on printed purchase orders so vendor(s) do not duplicate orders. Several purchase orders duplicated by vendors

  6. FastTrack Email Notifications for Custom Status Codes

    I would like to request a product enhancement that would allow us to send email notifications from Skyward to district staff when certain custom status codes are used in FastTrack – this is different than the screener, payroll, and HR notifications, but a custom option in the same area of setup - Message Center -> Configuration. An example of this would be a status code that is set up for salary review by a specific executive prior to proceeding with making an offer.   7. Taxable Life Insurance Warning

    There should be a warning that pops up on your first payroll in December (or even all payrolls in December) that reminds you to include the taxable benefit for group life insurance over $50K. This is a very common error that could be mostly avoided if there was a small pop-up that just reminded you to do it. For those that do it each payroll it would be a small annoyance, but for the people that do it once a year it could save a tone of time.   8. Pre-populate pay period/payroll dates

    When doing the payroll processing, you need to enter the payroll date, posting date, pay period, etc all manually. These dates could easily be automatically filled in. the way I would suggest to do this is to use the "Run Numbers" that are currently in the payroll system and just add some additional settings that would like you select the frequency (weekly, biweekly, monthly, etc). Based on the frequency selected and a calendar the system could determine what the dates would be. This would help everyone that does payroll to be more efficient and less likely to have a typing…

  10. My Employee's Time Off Per Week - Widget

    It looks like currently the My Employee's TIme Off Per Week widget is only programmed to look at individuals directly under the current supervisor and not the individuals underneath the people below the individuals.

    Our time off requests in Skyward first go the Payroll Secretary, then the Administrator. At this time, only the Secretary has access to see all staff in their building via a quick glance of My Employee's Time Off Per Week. It would be helpful if Administrators could see all staff that they complete an approval for within the My Employee's Time Off Per Week widget (not…

  11. SBAA Report for Today

    Be able use the Today report at the entity level in Reports for Account Ledger and Account Activity using the Today (current day) in the Date Selection box to pull reports for any Cash Receipts or Journal Entries.

  12. Import applications from third party applications

    Many employers take advantage of posting positions to sites such as Indeed, Career Builder, and college recruiting sites such as Handshake, Simplicity, etc.

    It would be great to have those resumes/applications transfer to FastTrack.

  13. Send Advice of Deposit notices to multiple vendor contacts

    In this day of cyber financial attacks, it would be helpful to be able to designate at least 2 individuals who will receive advice of deposit notices. Perhaps this feature would help mitigate malicious intent?

  14. Invoice Entry Enter through all sections

    When going through the data entry in the invoice add screen on web, you can hit "Enter" to go to the next option EXCEPT the "Status" option. Then if you want to continue keying, you have to switch to TAB to the next option. I would just like to continue to "Enter" through all the options for ease of use using the numberpad.

  17. Ability to RE-NAME rate table codes in Sub Tracking

    We would like to RE-NAME some of our rate table codes in Sub Tracking. In other areas of the software I rename deduction/benefit/pay codes/Employee Management Plans with a "Z" in front of it, so that it doesn't even appear in my browse. Thank you for your consideration. I submitted SC 4911174 and it's not available and they suggested submitting an idea.

  18. In PAC, Reporting, Detail check history. 1) have a "look up" button. 2) be able to create folders for reports I want to keep.

    1) I save a lot of reports in Detail Check History. It would be nice to have a "lookup" feature, so I don't have to scroll through all of them. i.e. ones starting with a "T". 2) It would be very helpful to have folders where I can save & store reports for future reference. i.e. for Audits. Then I do not have to re-create them. But then they are also not cluttering the rest of my reports. Or also to have folders for reports I run every pay day--have them all together in one folder. Kind of like "saved…

    Thank you for submitting this idea. We've reviewed it and have the following suggestions to try instead:


    (1) On the Web, the Vendor Check History has a lookup feature. 

    (2) We've heard from other Skyward customers that they use a prefix on the report description for grouping reports, this would also help when using the lookup feature on the Web.

    (3) On the Web, you can schedule Reports, this is one solution to implement for the reports you run daily.

  19. Super User/ Administrator

    A super user or administrator should be able to access, delete, or modify anything that is needed no matter what. There are several instances where administrators need to login under the individual user to make changes and this should not need to be done.

  20. Professional Development Request - option to display WI PI 34 Standards or no

    We are Using Professional Development to track our Talent Development credits locally for moving along the matrix - it would be nice to be able to not display the WI PI34 standards on the Pre-Approval credit request as it does not apply to how we are using this part of the module.
