  2. Filter on all screens

    It would be very helpful if you are on any screen (i.e. - chart of account) where you can right-click and filter out certain information. For example, If I am looking at chart of accounts and filter on salary accounts, but I want to exclude overtime in my view. I would be able to right-click and either exclude every account that has the word "overtime" or exclude the object code for overtime. Instead of download the chart of account to excel and doing this filter through excel.

    Employee Locator - Limit viewing to ORG Chart structure

    Employee locator is a great feature under employee access. It is currently an OFF/ON feature. We do have it turned ON. However, aides and teachers can currently see Superintendent, Principals, and the personal time off and reasons listed for every employee in Skyward. This is information that we feel everyone should not be able to see. Having viewing access limited based upon the ORG Chart would be a great addition to Employee Locator in Skyward.   4. Prevent Employees from Requesting More Hours Than Setup

    In Employee Access, employees will get an pop-up message warning them that they are requesting more hours than the number of hours per day in their time off setup. However, this is a warning only. Employees can click OK and submit the request anyway. I'd like to see an option for making this an error instead of a warning to prevent employees from submitting such requests.

  6. Disable the ability to delete time off/leave request after submitting.

    It would be helpful if there was an option that would keep employees from deleting their requests after they have submitted them, or give me a notice that they did delete it. If they submit and then delete, the system gives no notification that it was deleted. As the person who arranges subs for the district, this is not good because I have already received the notice they need a sub, but no notice they no longer need one, which will result in a sub showing up for work when not needed. (I am aware they can't delete it after…

  7. User Security Reports

    Historical Change Audit and Group Change reports need an option to select changes that were only made by a specific person. When investigating what one person did you have to work thru hundreds of pages of user failed login and additional security changes that have no value to the inquiry.

  10. Allow _Vacancy to be included in Data Mining Reports

    There is currently not a method to report ALL Positions & Assignments including Vacancies utilizing Data Mining.

    Assignments is a good tool but it only includes 2 Account Codes (we have many positions with 3-6 account codes) so this is not an adequate tool when reporting, managing data with account codes.

    This should be an "easy" fix since several "canned" reports have an option to "Include Vacant Assignments."

  11. On-Line Form Attachment

    I would like to the ability to attach a spreadsheet or document to an online form that is pushed out to employees through employee access. Currently, the employee can upload a form to the "Attach" section in employee profile through Employee Access. I want to push a document out to them.

  12. Datamine the notes area for an assignment

    Be able to data-mine the notes area for an assignment. Periodically our school board will want to know why an employee was reassigned to other assignment. We are needing make notes if it was a district decision or if they chose to move.

  15. PSERS Demographic Address Reporting

    For the PSERS reporting--- when entering an employee into the system you add in their home address information. The address then auto-fills into the retirement- demograph tab but in address 1 but then require manual entry to Address 3. According to a service call with Skyward, this is the only option as it has to be in address 3 for the PSERs reporting. It would be helpful if Skyward could reroute from Address 1 to Address 3 automatically if that is where the information is required.

    When you run the PSERS Member Demographic Record submission, the system takes the Address 1 in the profile and reports it in Address 3 in the maintain and the file. No manual edits need to be done in the Employee Profile to move the address to Address 3. The system takes care of that during processing for the Member Demographic submission.

  17. Balance Sheet Detail Report

    Currently you can print a report for the balance sheet assets but it does not allow you to include the details of each transaction. I would like to see an option to include the details of each transaction on the report showing what makes up each transaction for CR, AP, PR, and JE's. Not just the summary update total.

  18. Payroll Deposit Statements

    Payroll Deposit Statements - Allow the individual PDF Deposit statements to be posted into Employee access for each payroll, similar to W2's. It would be nice for employees to see the time off and YTD totals for each payroll. The current view in employee access both Show Check and Show Check with YTD totals are not as clean as the PAC Payroll: Deposits for each payroll.

    Many school districts seem to mandate the use of all CAPS in the software. The suggestion is to default all data entry fields in all parts of the business software to ALL CAPS

  20. Better Security options

    Currently we can only restrict users personnel access by building and other building. We have department head that manage several areas and need to be limited to those areas. Currently we need to give them district access which is not acceptable from auditing. The auditors want more controlled access to employees.
