We would like to have automated letters in Human Resources.
We would like to have the option to set up automated letters for employees. For example, if an employee only has 6 sick days left a letter would generate. We are hoping this could be set up like the attendance letters in student records.

Encumber Funds When P-Card Transaction Is Submitted for Approval
A district's budget management would benefit if Skyward encumbered budgetary funds when an employee submits a transaction for approval. I understand that a purchase order would encumber the funds, but I do not want to ask employees to complete an additional form in Skyward. That said, if p-card transactions are not invoiced, the expenditures are not reflected in the budget. Our department leaders use their budget reports to make decisions, but the reports don't do much for them when they have numerous p-card transactions that are not encumbered. Default setting in Position Control Maintenance to not update assignments
We would like to see a default the setting when changing FTE in Position Control to be “Do NOT update any information on the Assignments”.
When changing # POS in Position Control (WH\AD\EM\PC) a screen appears with "assignment Processing Options".
We are wanting the system to default the setting to be “Do NOT update any information on the Assignments” so that there is less chance of making an errors to the current assignments.

There are a few questions which we would like a better understanding on with this product idea:
1. Would a user preferences area be helpful so the user can decide how they want the option defaulted on how to update assignments?
2. Are you only looking for when FTE is changed or when any area on the position control is changed?
This Idea will remain open for the Skyward user community to show support by voting and commenting on it with additional use cases.

Develop Data import/update against DocuSign API
Hi, suggestion to develop employee import/update against the DocuSign API for onboarding new personnel. I think a lot of school districts use both Skyward HR for employees/payroll and DocuSign for document/envelope/packet management in digital form rather than paper copies.
Might be a good opportunity to streamline some data movement in regards to onboarding processes.

Add Entered By and Date Entered as Report options
For customers who used Time Off LTD where time off is entered by someone else, need these fields to assist with verification on a time off transactions that have been entered. TO LTD only launches the Detail Transaction Report.
Add both Entered By and Date Entered as report options on Detail Transaction Report so the report can be limited to only include these transactions.

Add Vendor Phone # to Vendor Info on Profile
Add Vendor Phone # to Vendor Info on Profile - this will eliminate the need to open a new window or get out of Invoices and going to General Tab to get the phone number while working with vendor on AP Invoice issues

We have reviewed it and would like to offer a suggestion on how to get the information you are looking for.
In Vendor Browse (Web Financial Management > Vendor > Vendor Browse), you do also have the ability to create a custom filter which would allow you to see the phone number easily and re-arrange the fields to fit your needs.

Inactive PO Contracts to not display on PO/Req screen
With the addition of Vendor Contracts with Start/Stop dates, the Stop date should stop the contract from viewing when creating the Req/PO; i.e only Active Contracts display.

FastTrack Applicant Reference Update
Would like an update for applicants to be able to change their references. The 1 year configuration in position set up is not working. We have applicants that originally applied for Aide positions 3-4 years ago that now have teacher certifications. They would like to update reference for their teaching experience. Even after purging the application the references still came back after their social was reentered. The old references are not valid for the position currently applying for. Please consider adding an update for applicants to change their references.

In vendor information the 2nd Name needs more characters. Some vendors need 2 names listed for the 1099s and the 2nd name field is to small
Need more characters in the 2nd Name field. Some vendors need 2 names listed for the 1099 reporting and the 2nd Name field is too small to fit most vendor names.

Is there any way an option can be included on the account sequence report to print it by posting date as opposed to invoice date? Is there any other report that gives as much detail as the account sequence report but has the option of printing by fiscal year? Is there any option anywhere to print GL detail as opposed to batch postings in the GL? Auditors are looking for detail of what posted in specific accounts.

Wrong PSD code prints in box 20 on our W2's
We have been informed by our local tax bureau, Berks Earned Income Tax Bureau that the PSD code in box 20 of our W2's should have the PSD code where our employees work not where they live. This makes it easier for them to locate and collect the money for people working outside the county. They said this was changed about 10 years ago but we are still using the wrong PSD code on our W2's. Could this please be corrected before year end of 23?

Finance Data Mining-Free Form Comment Field Needed
When formatting data mining reports to the correct layout for uploading to a third party, it is necessary to have a "Free Form Comment" field as a placeholder for data. This field is available on the Student side.

Can there be an additional area added to the Pseudo Approval area for confirmation of the change request where the individual approving or denying the request is reminded to contact the employee before the change is to be completed. With the hackers getting more aggressive and people doing thing more things electronically, it would be just one step in ensuring the employee information still remains safe.

Expand options within Pay Code Maintenance in True Time
It'd be great if you could have the option within True Time Pay Code Maintenance to say "Yes" to the option of "Must leave a Note" (similar to choosing "Yes" to the option "Include in True Time"). There are some paycodes that we REALLY wish people would remember to leave a note to help explain why they used that particular paycode.

certification expiring soon automated email
I would like an automated email to be sent to the employee when their certifications are 6 months, 3 months, & 30 days from expiring.

direct deposit email notification
It would be nice to have the ability to schedule the direct deposit email notification for later in the day. I have to process my payroll by noon, but I don't want the email to be sent until after 5pm. Right now, it either gets sent at noon, when the check hasn't been deposited to their account yet, or it doesn't get sent at all. I know I can schedule it as a task, but that means that the email goes out first, and I don't want it to go out until the check has been deposited in their account…
