Grade Level Visible When Posting Grades
Our school posts grades for seniors days before posting for the rest of the school. While you can change the display options in the gradebook to see a student's grade level, once you go in to post grades, the grade level is no longer visible. It would be great if it would carry over so then teachers would know which students are seniors and who they have to post grades for.

A WAY TO CHECK FOR HOLES IN THE STANDARDS REPORT CARDS
Can we look at finding a way to look for holes in the Standards Gradebook like we do with the Secondary Gradebook? We have both gradebooks in our district and we are closing out the end of the school year and I want to make sure that every student has a grade for each skill/subject. It may not help for this year, but next year would be great.

Clear All Missing Work Checks for a Quarter
It would be wonderful to be able to clear all the missing work checks for all students in all assignments in a class for a quarter at once instead of having to do them assignment by assignment.

Add the ability to filter on special codes in the gradebook progress reports or missing assignment reports
I have several teachers that have requested a way to track late assignments. They use a special code of Late for this but there is no way to print a report for only students with late assignments. They would like this for RTI purposes .

Option for New button to write to grade bucket
We have a tremendous number of students changing classes due to current conditions. When teachers use the New button, we have to either repost grades or manually enter grades into grade buckets. It would be nice to have an entity level option that writes the transferred grades into grade buckets,

Canvas/Skyward integration, remove missing mark that was previously synced
Work with Canvas integration so that when a previously "unscored and marked as zero" assignment is actually scored and then resynced, the "Missing" mark is removed; currently, the grade is transferred but the missing mark is not removed in Skyward and has to be removed by assignment, and/or by student.

Allow Message center to send to specific Student Groups
Due to COVID reasons many different groups of students are in one classroom. Group A on different days than Group B but still in the same course. It would be nice if the teacher had the ability, if they setup student groups, to send to just those student groups.
Add an option under send to multiple classes to change to send to students if they are setup. This will then show a list of all the different groups along with the class they are in.13 votes -
Add a way for teachers to adjust the default for attendance
Currently, the gradebook attendance defaults to being present. Virtual teachers now have to mark students virtual each day to be counted present. It would be nice if teachers could change the default so they would all show virtual instead of present or have a way to mark all students at once so you don't have to click on each student individually. Thanks!!

Academic Area report
Our secondary schools have transitioned to standards based gradebooks. It would be helpful to have a report that would list the academic area and the courses assigned. We had to manually go through each academic area to make sure each one of our courses was assigned to an area. What could have been done in a matter of minutes with a report that could be exported to Excel, ended up taking 16 hours to go through one by one at each secondary school.

Teacher Tracking and Gradebook Usage
Gradebook monitoring is very limited. The only way to get information is to use filters when monitoring by Teacher/Class, or drill down in a chart. It would be helpful to have more reports or the ability to do something, like schedule a task and email results, with the information you pull from filters.
Example: Last time teachers entered grades or a learning event is vital information. I can only get that information by using a filter, but I can't do anything with it. I would have to manually run it, download, and email the results to administration.

Edit academic standards in Secondary Gradebooks
We are using academic standards in our secondary gradebooks. Once an assignment is created with academic standards attached and then is saved, you cannot edit any of the academic information. For example, the wrong point value is attached to an academic standard. Once the assignment is saved, this value cannot be edited. The entire assignment must be deleted and recreated. We would like the ability to edit academic standards once they are attached to an assignment.

EMERGENCY ALERTS IN TEACHERS WIDGETS
Right now teachers can not see emergency alerts flags in their Educator Access Plus homepage(Widgets) where all their students are listed.
In order to see an Emergency alert, they need to go to their grade book and there they can see the emergency flag for a particular student.
It would be great if the emergency alerts are populated in the Widgets and My Students area as well. It would be very easy for the teacher to identify the flagged students without having to enter each student profile to find out.10 votes -

We would like an email trigger to send to the teacher when a grade change they requested was posted by the principal.

Add Comments Field to Attendance in Secondary GB
Add a "Comments Field" in Attendance in the Secondary Gradebook so that when a teacher entered attendance they could also enter a comment next to that field to indicate the time a student actually arrived in class and there would be a record of it. This would help to hold kids accountable for when they arrive to class and also show a pattern for tardiness or absences.

Educator Access Plus Secondary Gradebook Reports
It would be great if we could run the reports in educator access plus under the secondary gradebook for past years and not just the current year. If there is a question on a grade for the transcript on a previous year, we have to log in as the teacher to access it. And if the teacher left the district, we have to make them active, log in and then make them inactive.

Capability to give teachers access in their gradebooks to Physicals tab in Student Profile
It would be extremely helpful if teachers could have the capability of having access to the Physicals tab in Student Profile from their gradebooks. This would be so coaches could have access to their scanned physicals. We know this is already an option for the Student Portfolio, but the problem is that we have scans in this area that they cannot legally see due to FERPA and HIPAA.

Disable auto hiding of previous terms in gradebooks
We would like to disable (or enable) the auto hiding of previous terms in teachers gradebooks when a new term starts.
We would like the teachers to retain the ability to display or show terms as they wish.
