Message Center - Expiration Date Irrelevant Messages
Message Center - Expiration Date on Message - Some parents via Family Access have inquired if there was a way for the District to actually delete irrelevant messages that are being displayed via the message center in Family Access. We have advised parents that they are able HIDE messages that are no longer applicable but the question is if they can be deleted once their relevancy has expired? Users are able to RECALL expired messages and they then no longer appear in FA however it would be extremely helpful and convenient if users could at least have an "expiration date" field added to their message that would automatically recall them from FA so guardian no longer see irrelevant messages. Thank you!

commentedI am aware of the setting Vicki has mentioned, and we do use it, but I would like to see this one go through because the Message Center is VERY cluttered from my point of view.

commentedNot sure if you're aware of the District Family Access Setting that says... "Do Not Show Wall Post Messages Prior to..." and then you can fill in the date, and change it whenever needed. That might be helpful for your District? It can be found at WS\FA\FM\PS\CF\DD.
