Under online registration, student information, says home email, can it say student home email. Parents keep putting their email in and that is where the student's home email is. Then when parents go to the parent section, they don't update their email because they put it under the student information by mistake.

It may be helpful to rename the "Home EMail" field under WEB ACCESS to actually read . . . "STUDENT'S HOME EMAIL" as I think parents are populating that with their own "Guardian" Home EMail addresses. Would it be possible to rename that field to read "STUDENT'S HOME EMAIL?" When parents and students have the same HOME email address it causes an error in Family Access that reads: : "This account type isn't allowed to reset their account by email. To get it re-activated, please contact the district?" This message is appearing due to the LDAP setup for Single Sign-On for the Student. You can change the LABEL in your Enrollment Portal Configuration setup. Instead of Home Email, change it to Student's Email and that should solve your issue. I hope so, anyway! ~smile~ Roseanne from Glencoe, IL
