We submitted this last year but really need this addressed. Currently our medication dosage unit codes only allow for 5 characters. We enter the dose unit of medications and have run into this more than once that if a dose is in the 10000s we are unable to qualify WHAT the measurement is. For example: 10000mg 10000units etc. This is a safety concern because we need to be able to denote WHAT the measurement is for that medication. I have attached a screen shot.
