Add automated email for student fees
Add a trigger for "a new fee charge was added"
Parents do not know when new fee charges have been added to their account. It would be nice if an email went to the parent when a new charge has been added.

Thanks for letting us know. We need an auto email notification when taking payments more than when a charge is added. I entered an idea last year. E-mail Receipt button while taking payments
To make the process faster when taking cash or check payments via Fee Management>Customers area, we would like to have the capability to EMAIL the receipt to the parent right when we are processing the payment. That way we don't have to print or ask the parent to verify their family access account. IF we can send the email right when they are making the payment it would move our lines faster especially at the beginning of the school year. THANKS!

I agree with Kristen's comment from September 30, 2019. A live, immediate email when a fee is entered would be our preference. We do not generate statements anymore. We encourage parents to log in to see their fees. If an email was automatically generated when a new fee was added (for example mid- year when an Activity Fee is added for Winter sports) then the parent would know that a new fee was there rather than thinking "Oh, I've paid all my fees in October..."

My product idea and your suggestion are two different things. We are asking for an Automated Email under Advanced Features > Automated Emails to trigger when a new fee has been posted to a student. Your proposed solution is something we would have to setup to run a a specified time of the month and would only run when we tell it and not when a new charge is added. Thanks.

Mailing Statements is a good feature. Some of our campuses do this on a weekly basis.
Would it be possible to review the idea of "EMAILING RECEIPT AT THE TIME THE PAYMENT IS BEING ENTERED"? EMAIL BUTTON WHEN TAKING PAYMENTS will eliminate the process of printing receipts, specially at the beginning of the school year when we have lines of parents paying for fees.

Would it be possible to have a trigger added for email notifications so that when a particular bill code is added to a customer (customers in our database are the students) the parent attached to that customer (student) receives an email notification? We get a lot of complaints from parents that they are not notified whenchargeda particular bill code. We have processes in place to notify parents bi-monthly but not in real-time. Parents don't always log into Family Access on a regular schedule so they don't necessarily see when a bill code is charged to them via the Fee Management tab.The hope would be that we could set something up that says when customer has the specify bill code here added to them send an email to their associated primary guardian
