Absence/Tardy Thresholds for PASS+ Devices
There are a few critical items needed in the Positive Attendance features to work more effectively and efficiently. PASS+ devices already read the Skyward bell schedule. Add the functionality of being able to set thresholds to count entries as tardy X number of minutes after the period begins and count entries as absent after X number of minutes into the period. Currently it only marks students present and when students arrive in class after using the Tardy Kiosk in the office it removes their tardy and marks them Being able to mark students present tardy and absent (significantly late) with the PASS+ device based on bell schedule removes the need for sending students to the office for a tardy pass from the Tardy Kiosk at the start of each class. Tardies are a big issue for many schools. Having the ability to manage tardies with PASS+ in class saves class time and reduces load on office staff.

This would be great. Currently, students can be marked tardy in the office, and then go directly to the library to scan in, which erases their tardy. It would be great if the library scanner could mark their "reason" code as in the library, without erasing their "type" code of tardy. So, we'd know they're tardy to school AND in the library if we need to find them quickly.
