Teaching staff is requesting that ONLY 1ST Family/Guardians be allowed to schedule conferences. Currently every guardian attached to the student has the ability to schedule. This creates multiple teacher conferences for the same child and unfortunately the parents that can't get along twist their meeting information and use it against the other effectively putting the child and teacher in the middle. It also takes a conference slot from availablity and forces the teacher to have virtually the same meeting twice.
The option to limit registration to Family 1 already exists. It would be very helpful to have that option in conference scheduling giving users the choice as to keep it open to all guardians or just primary.
