Family Access Missing Assignments
When we get a new student in our school the assignments that were given prior to their enrollment show up as missing assignments. Parents/Students get confused or upset about the number of missing assignments that then show up. Past assignments should not show up for new students that enroll into a entity.

Improving Access to Custom Forms in the Skyward Mobile App
Many parents have expressed interest in being able to access custom forms directly through the Skyward mobile app. The technology department gets numerous calls and support requests from parents stating they are unable to locate the custom forms. If integrating custom forms into the app is not feasible, an alternative solution could be to add a "Custom Forms" button or link within the app. This "Button" would redirect parents to access those forms through their web browser. Mock Attachments & Manage Required Documents from NSOE to Family Access
Currently, NSOE allows for viewing and checking off documentation uploaded through the portal. Family Access should reflect this same option, providing a link to view attachments from Online Registration and Online Forms, and provide a Manage Required Documents button to mock the same options setup for NSOE. This is imperative for districts tracking Proof of Residency, unless they want to use post-it notes or a spreadsheet outside of Skyward.

Family Access Users login history
It would be nice to be able to see the Family Access user login history. We can see it on the student but not the parent. This would come in handy for us to help the parent get logged in. By seeing time, date operating system and browser, just like the student login history.

Add an option to request translation services when scheduling conferences
When scheduling conferences in Family Access we would like there to be an option to request translation services for conferences. We want access to translation services to be the norm and not something that families feel burdened to request. This would need to include spoke and sign language, and ideally the selection should be written in the language used by those needing the service.

Change Family Access Users to be entity specific when not in District Entity.
When a staff member has access to one entity, they should not have the ability to access any parent, student, or teacher from the entire district.
Our secretaries assist parents, students, and teachers for a variety of areas from registration, trouble shooting in the gradebook, etc. Their access should include ONLY the entity they have access to, not the entire district. This is a privacy and security issue! Absence Request FA Screen
Our district uses the absence requests to request early dismissals. A Skycoder prompt based upon attendance code (such as early dismissal) would be beneficial to remind parents not to submit an early dismissal through the portal after 9:00 a.m. for the same day. Likewise, a prompt attached to the medically absent code telling parents to attach a doctors note would be beneficial as well, when the ability to add attachments is added. :)

Texas - Add grade level to the pre-defined fields for the Family Access Absence Notification Request. Adding the entity that the student attends would be very helpful. This would allow the attendance clerks to quickly identify their students should there be more than one attendance clerk on a campus.

Mass change default FamilyAccess Calendar display
I would like District Calendar Configuration to make changes to the Calendar in Family Access. I want to be able to change the default colors for events in the Family Access calendar, without having the guardians to manually change those on their own.

Mobile ID Card - Make available to parents in Skyward Family Access mobile app
PLEASE make the Mobile ID Card for students available so that it can be enabled on the Family Access side for the Parent App! We need this for the ability to scan when parents come to pick up their students early or in the event of a reunification event as well as many other uses. Thank you!

Hiding final grades in Family Access for standards gradebook
It would be great if we could hide the final grade in family access for standards gradebook. New DOE rules, we have to send a final grade across for ALL courses. We are adding the P/F to report, but we do not include that on report cards. However we can't block it from family access. It makes no sense to parents because there is no pass or fail for elementary grades.

Hide EOC Score in Family and Student Access
We are a block district and import EOC scores into Skyward in January. I am having to keep the gradebook disabled to parents and students until Semester 1 grades are ready. Teachers have to review these EOC scores before completing the students final grades, which takes a bit. If there was an option to hide the EOC score until we are ready to release grades, that would enable us to leave open the gradebooks for families so they can see the new term assignments.

Mass assign obligations
Could there be a way to mass assign obligations to all students? For example, in order for them to see their new schedule, they first need to turn in Tech Forms for their computers and the parent needs to complete Family Access Updates.
Also, parents should be able to see obligations in Family Access, so they are aware of what the student needs to complete.1 vote -

We have an automated email set up to be generated when an absence request is submitted through FA. The message recipients for general staff is the main office AA's and the health room staff. They would like the notification to also generate an email to the student's homeroom teacher.

Academic History - School picks the years shown
I would like the ability for Academic History to be ONLY history of past years OR allow the option to use a processing list to turn off history for those we are blocking.

Family Access Food Service and Fee Management Paid By (parent name)
Please add the parent name to the paid by, it just says 'Via Web'. We have split families and both parents have equal rights for the children, they want to see that they paid for food service or the fees. Even on the receipt it doesn't show who paid for it.
