  1. Need to Update Multiple True Time Rule Sets at the Same Time

    When updating timesheets (HR\PA\CP\TT) each rule set must be updated one at a time. This is extremely time consuming. We need a "select all" option, or some way to update multiple time sheets at the same time. We can then run reports to find any discrepancies, rather than trying to review each individual rule set before updating.

  3. True Time = Updating time sheets into seperate Worksheet Selections

    Within True Time = when UPDATING time sheets, if there was a button where we could individually HOLD or SELECT a specific time sheet to go into a different WORKSHEET SELECTION. For example, I am pulling in teachers time sheets and I want a couple of this group to go into a different worksheet because they need to be paid on a different date then the rest.

  4. Direct Deposit Notification Change Emails Causing Alarm

    We have enabled the auto email notification to send to employees when their direct deposit has changed.
    However, the system sends an email when you
    1. Are setting up a new employee (they had no direct deposit in the system, and now they do since you just got their direct deposit set up)
    2. When you change their direct deposit to print instead of "Do not print direct deposit on check run." We commonly change this when the employee is leaving as we cut off their access to employee access.

    After researching the two issues detailed in the
    Product Idea we have some feedback.

    We will not be considering #1 for development. Best practices in security are constantly changing and bad actors become more resourceful and creative. This is a valid valid email event to me. If a Bad Actor adds a direct deposit number when there wasn’t supposed to be one, that would be something our users would want to be notified about. Even if it does cause alarm, better to be safe then sorry.

    We looked into #2 and are not able to duplicate this issue in any environment. We will need to know the exact steps you took to recreate the event.

  5. Adding a note option on a pay record

    When paying for an Extra Duty it would be amazing to be able to put a note in for what the payment is for. I.E. Class Sponsor, Morning Bus Duty, Basketball Coach Stipend, etc. If Skyward could put this note option on the select screen through payroll, we could manually enter the information when paying out for these different stipends.

  6. Add Columns to Retirement Detailed Hours

    On the employee profile, the Retirement section has a part called "Detail Hrs". This section should show all things that pull into Annual report. I would add a a column that would track what WRS benefit and another column that shows the WRS deduction and another column to show what category they were recorded in. This would help that you could quickly see where an error was made and how log it was going on.

  7. Update Retirement Hour Totals Automatically

    If you make changes in the Retirement "Details Hours" for an employee it should automatically update the "Monthly Info" and the "Annual Info". If you update at a higher level, for example the monthly tab, then it should automatically update the Annual and then give you a warning reminding you to fix it in the "Detailed Hours" section. This would really help with keeping the data consistent and stop redundancies in entering corrections.

  8. The Ability to Choose the Bank for Benefit and Deduction AP Claims Created During Payroll

    In Indiana, most of us are probably utilize the consolidated fund set up for our AP claims created during a payroll process due to the number of funds Indiana has. There needs to be a way to allow us to choose more than one bank account for all of these AP claims to be paid from. Currently all of ours are set up to be paid from our payroll bank. However, all of our FICA, Medicare, PERF, TRF, AUL, VALIC, Health Ins benefits are ACH'd from our AP bank. The only way to make our scenario work is to 1)…

  11. Add Ability to Schedule Direct Deposit Email Processing

    Currently there is no option to schedule the Direct Deposit Email that goes out on pay day. The ability to schedule this a few days before would be beneficial so staff who are on vacation and or out sick do not have to log in to send the email the morning of payroll.

    Hello! Scheduling Direct Deposit emails is current functionality. You can set this up two different ways. If you just sent your Direct Deposit emails recently, you can go into “My Print Queue” (upper right hand corner of your screen). You will see a Report Description with “Send Direct Deposit Emails”. Highlight the row by clicking on it and then click on Tasks on the right hand side. You will then click on Schedule This, which will prompt you to choose which days of the week, months of the year, etc. to run the scheduled task. Once you are finished click Save. If you do not have any recent Direct Deposit Emails sent, once you run your next Payroll and you send the notification you will have the same record in your Print Queue which will allow you to setup your scheduled task with the same steps above.   12. ACA Date Range on Report

    When you are working in payroll in the "Payroll Worksheet" there is an option to do a report. This report is very useful, but it does not show the ACA Date Range that was used for that worksheet.
    It would be extremely helpful for the report to include that information so you can detect issues with the ACA hours and you can verify that this information has been updated as you are checking the worksheet report.

  13. Fix Print Screen

    If you are in the employee profile and try to print a time sheet from TrueTime the print screen does not work properly. It prints to the size of the window instead of the size of the information. For example if you have the window full screen it will print the time sheet very tiny. If you have the window shrunk so the it is the size of the timesheet it will print correctly. Please fix so that it auto resizes when you are trying to print so you don't end up with super tiny unreadable timesheet printouts. See attachment…

  14. Reminder message for True Time users to submit their time card at the end of the week

    ...with the ability to schedule the reminder for a specific day of the week. Another reminder could be scheduled when they Punch In for the first time in the next work week to submit any prior work week's time sheets.

    With the 05.20.10.00.01 release which became available on 10/8/2020, notifications can be configured to display for Unsubmitted Time Sheets. The notification will be displayed as an alert in the header of the screen. The number of weeks to look back can also be configured. An option has been added to the Timekeeping Rule to display a notification to the employee when they have unsubmitted time sheets. Turn it on and enter a number of weeks.

  15. 1095-C Export/Import

    I know there is an import area with the 1095-C forms, however there doesn't seem to be an export. I would find it much easier and quicker if I could export a report from Skyward, make necessary changes, and import it back into Skyward. This would speed up the process considerably and make it easier to see discrepancies. The report I suggest would be the exact same information that is in the employee profile under the ACA Information tab and 1095-C Info.     Our State and Federal Reporting Department recommends running the 1095 Tracker and exporting it to excel to fill in the fields as applicable. You can also add additional fields to it if necessary then format the 1095 import to follow that format (updating for each month).

  16. True Time Pay Code Maintenance

    Pay Code Maintenance Setup- I have employees that earn comp time for their primary duty and OT for extra duty. Please have the option to Include Pay towards overtime to "Yes" and the option of "No" to include in Comp Time. Currently, the option defaults to Yes to include in Comp Time and the overtime will not calculate in the worksheet.

  17. TrueTime Future Dates

    When you use TrueTime future dates (ie need to submit timesheets before the week is complete) there is an error that comes up. It will allow employees to put in a complete day, but it will not let them edit it the day of. For example I opened up 11/19/20 and 11/20/2020 so they could submit their timesheet and I would be able to prepare the payroll early due to Thanksgiving.

  18. Payroll Variance Report

    In the "Post-Verification" section of payroll there should be a report that shows variances. For example it should compare the gross or net between the last payroll and the current payroll.

    Each employee should be on their own line and you should be able to choose what you see on the report so you can choose to look at: net, gross, specific deductions, or specific benefits. Would help pin-point errors quickly without having to print 2 reports and having to manually compare the reports.

  19. Make Contract Amounts update Correctly

    When you are trying to update a Contract Amount on someone's profile under the Contract tab, it will update the Contract Amount, but not the Per Diem Amount. It should update both fields and give you the option to over ride the Per Diem Amounts. That should be fairly rare that you would need them to be different amounts.

  20. Account Adjustment by Specific Dollar Amounts

    Payroll account adjustments are currently only able to use percentages. It would be extremely helpful if we were able to also do the accounting adjustments by specific dollar amounts. This would help for situations where you are trying to move part to a grant. Some grants need it down to the exact penny and that can be hard to achieve using percentages.
