  1. Add "ATTN TO:" field to print in Check Address

    An AP Check prints the following fields of information for a vendor in the address information:
    Line 1: Vendor 1st Name and Vendor 2nd Name
    Line 2: Address 1
    Line 3: Address 2
    Line 4: City State Zip

    We would like to add an optional new field in the Vendor FM (Address tab) for "ATTN TO:" that prints below the Vendor Name and above Address 1.
    Line 1: Vendor 1st Name and Vendor 2nd Name
    Line 2: ATTN TO: xxxxx
    Line 3: Address 1
    Line 4: Address 2
    Line 5: City State Zip

    Thank you for submitting this idea. Nelco is the authorized partner of compatible paper forms for the Skyward software. All W-2 and 1099 forms, checks, and school forms are guaranteed 100% compatible. Any issues with the check layout will need to be handled by Nelco as Skyward is unable to alter the format in anyway.

  2. Allow approvers to get notificaton of PO Overage

    Allowing an approver instead of the submitter of a purchase order to get notification that the PO went over. The negative impact would be that the person doing the budget has to go into each PO to see which ones are over.

  3. Vendor profile - viewing inactive vendors

    It would be extremely helpful when pulling up vendors in Vendor Profile if inactive vendors could be differentiated in someway. Maybe make inactive vendors a different color or something easy to spot when typing in the vendor key. In order to see if a vendor is inactive while in profile you have to select that vendor to view the vendor information. This would also be helpful in Vendor Browse. Instead of looking at the columns for a Y or N an easier view would be to make them stand out like in employee browse. In HR all inactive employees show…

  4. Street Names

    Please add a way to clean up the "Street Name" list for addresses. It would be ideal to be able to merge the existing street name when someone has entered many varieties and spellings of the same street name.

  5. Blocking Individual Vendors

    I would love to have the ability to block access to individual vendors - invoice history and/or attachments. For example I would like to block the ability to see legal vendors for most of the employees who have vendor view securities. We scan in invoices and I believe the details contained in some legal invoices should not be seen by everyone.
    Without this ability we will most likely stop scanning in legal invoices.

  6. Exclude Employees from Vendor Mass Inactivate

    Mass inactivate allows districts to clear out no longer used vendors based on inactivity. Currently this process will also inactive the vendor records setup for employee expense reimbursement. I would like to see a radio button that allows a district to include or exclude active employee records from the Vendor Mass Inactivate process.

  7. Add Account Number as a field on Vendor Profile

    Add "Account number" as a field on Vendor Profile. Ideally this field would print on the checks so that vendors could use this information to identify which account to apply the payment to.

  8. Change a Order From/Remit to Vendor to Order From only - KS

    It would be nice if you could change an "Order From/Remit To" vendor to Order From only and attach a different Remit To vendor. Many times when we are setting up vendors - you don't always know that there will be a different remit to address and there is not way to go back an change the original address and link to the new remit to address.

    Hello! This functionality is currently available. Within Web Financial Management > Vendor > Vendor Browse, select and Order From/Remit To Vendor and click “Change Remit To”. Then click on the Select a Different Remit To Vendor and proceed by clicking Save. If this does not solve the idea you have, please respond back with more detail. Thank you and have a great day!

  9. Purchase Order Printing in the Vendor Profile Section

    It would be nice if you could print a Purchase Order right in the Vendor Profile Section instead of having to go to the Purchase Order Section.

  10. VENDOR ACH SETUP

    We are moving in the direction of using more ACH processing and have come across the vendor "Alliant Energy" who requires certain criteria that Skyward is not able to support at this time. Per Aaron King (Service call: 3683187) the part that is not support is the Addenda 7 part of the attached form. Since we make weekly payments to this vendor (because of the various buildings with different due dates) we would like to see if something could be worked out to accommodate ACH processing.

  11. Vendor Browse - Last Used Date

    On the vendor browse it would be helpful to have a last used date that shows the last invoice or payment date for each vendor. This would help with the 1099 Info so we can look at only those that were used during the year to see if they have 1099 information filled out correctly. It would also be helpful in the general vendor browse so you can quickly see which vendors have not been used in a few year and be able to do a cleanup on your vendor list.

  12. Vendor Sort by Category

    Would like to be able to add a category to vendors so we can sort by plumber or t-shirts or office supplies or etc. This can be a District created field. We just need a category drop down in Vendor Browse.

  13. Allow Journal Entries to link to vendor profiles

    Create a tab under the vendor profile that will allow journal entries to be linked to specific vendors. This would greatly simplify being able to look at edits that were made after posting and help communication

  14. vendor approval

    Can we have the option to have multiple vendor approvals like time offs. When one person approves a vendor, it can then go to another person and does not get approved until it has been approved by all approvers. Currently, if any approvers approve, it is goes through. The reason is because we require our individual vendors to go through a background check. We would like our HR department to approve the vendors so we know they passed the background requirements before the vendor is approved.

  15. Option to add attachments during new vendor set up process

    Within new vendor set up, we would like the last screen of the set up to give the option (not required) of adding attachments (either 1 or multiple), that would then be attached/available under the ‘Attachments’ tab for that vendor. This will help during vendor entry so employees do not have to re-search the newly created vendor to add appropriate attachments, as most vendors have attachments at the initial set up.

  16. vendor browse

    When you select a vendor to view in PAC that is inactive, It automatically takes you to the web. Apparently it is because you cannot inactivate a vendor in PAC, so if you are wanting to make any changes to the vendor profile (like reactivating) it has be be done in web. If I am trying to view it, I should be able to see it in PAC. I can understand if I hit the edit button that it would go to the web, but I am only selecting the vendor in the display screen. This is very time consuming.…

  18. Select Phone Category Field in Employee Access

    Enable employees to maintain their phone numbers and select Phone Category and Type. This information would then populate the information on the Phone/Email tab. District could have a Notification Phone Category so that users could select to use for school closing. Data could then be exported and uploaded to 3rd party software. Districts are currently requesting the information it is not updated in Skyward only in the 3rd party software. Would allow single entry of data.   20. Vendor Report, $25,000+ in payments for Federal Grant tracking

    Could Skyward create a canned Vendor Report that would show all payments made to a vendor within a specific date range? All payments meaning, all checks, all ACH, all p-card payments. Federal fund guidance requires districts to keep additional documentation for vendors who receive $25,000 or more in federal funds annually, so being able to pull this report monthly, or quarterly would be helpful.
