Select Phone Category Field in Employee Access
Enable employees to maintain their phone numbers and select Phone Category and Type. This information would then populate the information on the Phone/Email tab. District could have a Notification Phone Category so that users could select to use for school closing. Data could then be exported and uploaded to 3rd party software. Districts are currently requesting the information it is not updated in Skyward only in the 3rd party software. Would allow single entry of data. Employees can keep their phone numbers updated for notification when necessary. Districts could have an open period to allow employees to update their numbers without approval. After that period system could be changed to require approval then you would be notified that a change was made to the phone number to keep your notification system updated. Single entry in Skyward secretaries do not need to then contact employee to identify which number to use for notifications then make change in Skyward and 3rd party software. Add PCAT field to employee Info screen. Would be nice to include option to change Emails 2 and 3.
