Calculate retirement hours based on number of checks remaining
Currently an employee who joins us after the first payroll period applicable to their position the retirement hours on their pay code are populated based on the 20 or 24 checks. ie: employee works 90 days at 6 hpd=540 total hrs. The retirement hours on the pay code populates as 27 (divided by 20 checks) versus 54 based on 10 checks left.
I find that since the information we used to use to see the number of days on the position tab in PAC was removed (grrrr) we now have to go to WEB open that employee, choose assignment and…10 votesThank you for submitting this idea to the Ideas Portal.

Add the amount for 4c amount in the W4 information tab
In addition to ordering the steps 1-4b like someone else requested add the amount that is calculated for 4c to add the federal deduction amount right there. It makes sense to do all of that on the one screen since we may be adding other values there as well.

Cash Receipts/Accounts Receivable - Name Field
The Name field in the Cash Receipts and Accounts Receivable entry are tied to the Vendor file in Accounts Payable. It is not often that we receive payments from our vendors. There needs to be a separate "Customer" Profile created for these modules so we can track payments received from DPI, other grantors, booster clubs, etc.

W-4 2020
The system should now be updated so the default for new employees should be with the W-4 for 2020 as Single with no adjustments. It shouldn't have the prior year defaults and require us to to click on 2020 or after W-4 for every new person going forward. I thought no changes were going to be allowed in the system for prior to the 2020 W-4 form. It should be switched at this point to default to 2020 info and just leave the prior info as viewing if not changed to 2020.

Post user training guides that are editable.
User guides should be posted to the PDC in a format that allows customization. For example, post the user guides in Word so that generic, multi purpose screenshots may be replaced by the organization's actual screenshots. Allow the customer to edit the user guide to best align with the organization's set-up. Most school districts seem to be creating individual training content for employees because the PDC delivered content is too generic. Thanks.

Add Option to Select Additional Assignments to End when Ending Main Assignment
Allow HR staff the option to end date additional assignments on an employee when they end the main assignment. Currently, staff has to go into each assignment to add an end date. Would be great to be able to select each assignment at once and add an end date to all.

Option to auto create vendor on employee add - individually not mass
I would like to see an option when creating a new employee to create a vendor at the same time for that employee. However I don't want this to be a system wide/mass add option. We don't want to add every employee as a vendor, just certain ones. A check box during the employee creation would be great. This would trigger the vendor to be created and carryover ACH info to vendor profile automatically.

Cash Recipts - please add the Created by field in Reports under WIP
Please add the capability to see who entered a WIP status cash receipt when you click on the reports. We are moving all of our locations from SBAA to Financial management and with no approval process in the cash receipts module, I need to verify the receipts and make budget revisions prior to posting the batch. The report tool is helpful however I have to manually write down which batch I want to select for in the report screen.

Re-print expense reimbursement
It would be nice if you could re-print the expense reimbursement invoice after it has been moved to history. Currently we can "view" the reimbursement but there is no great way to re-print the reimbursement invoice looking the same.

Schedule Mass Assign of a Status Code
When Volunteers apply we assign them a separate status code for processing on a daily basis. HR will manually run this utility daily to move the applications into the view of the coordinators at the schools for processing. We would like to have the ability to schedule this utility to automatically run twice a day. Currently we have been advised by Skyward that is not available.

We would like to see a link on the "Move to Profile" screen to show the "Reference Check".
We have general postings that include multiple assignments to be viewed by all Principals. In looking at the Move to Profile screen it only shows the ex: Teacher label. With the link revealing the Reference Check, this will give us the ability to see what the Principal has actually assigned to the applicant on the general posting.

Certification details
Currently can enter the issue/expiration dates for the certification master section. Need the ability to enter issue/expiration dates on the certification detail section in order to determine infield/outfield status. Example is a teacher who gets an additional certification area 3 years into the certificate but should not be reported as infield for that area before the addition area was received.

Allow for a temporary approver to be substituted on the org chart
We will have a True Time and Time Off approver out for a 2 month period. It would be beneficial to have the ability to add a temporary approver while that person is out. The temporary approver is already on the org chart with their own employees, so we don't want to combine the employees under one approver.

Print W2's for anyone that does not reply to Electronic
Print W2's for everyone again that does not choose electronic in the current year. Do not override the system and go back and look at previous years and not print their W2 if they ever chose the electronic option. It was a great idea, BUT if I have a retired teacher who is now subbing, they do not have access to Employee Access. Therefore they can not change their election from a previous year from electronic to paper. And the Electronic holds, even though the sub no longer has employee access.

Would it be easier to have a check box that says "Select All" in this area as well?

W-4 Step order
Change the screen for entering the 2020 W-4 information so the steps are shown in order. It currently shows step 3, 4a, 4b, nonresident, then step 2. When reviewing W-4 elections, a person looks from the top of the form to the bottom and fields for entering should be in the same order as the W-4 form.

Change a Order From/Remit to Vendor to Order From only - KS
It would be nice if you could change an "Order From/Remit To" vendor to Order From only and attach a different Remit To vendor. Many times when we are setting up vendors - you don't always know that there will be a different remit to address and there is not way to go back an change the original address and link to the new remit to address.
8 votesHello! This functionality is currently available. Within Web Financial Management > Vendor > Vendor Browse, select and Order From/Remit To Vendor and click “Change Remit To”. Then click on the Select a Different Remit To Vendor and proceed by clicking Save. If this does not solve the idea you have, please respond back with more detail. Thank you and have a great day!

Employee Time Off Request in EA-
Employee Time Off Request in EA- need to log history to track if they change or DELETE a request. If a request is deleted an email to HR and Supervisor sent as well. Employees can delete request prior to approval and we need a way to track this.
