True Time
I have input a Skyward ticket to see if setting the order of pay codes in the employee's True Time clock view was possible and was told there was not a way to do this and to submit as an idea.
I want to be able to have pay codes listed in a specific order within the True Time time clock view. For some employees with multiple codes, it would decrease errors if we could list the codes in a way that makes sense. I am not a big believer in multiple codes, it increases the risk of error and can create more work for all parties involved. In some cases, multiple codes are needed and if the employer could set these codes up in a sequence that makes sense (most used to least used) it would give all employees within a specific timekeeping rule a consistent view. At this time, there does not appear to be a reason for the order of the pay codes within the employee's True Time view (no logical reason). In the example I have attached, I would like the order to be Custodian Work, Building Check, Holiday Building Check, then Double Time. I have also included a view of the set-up within the attachment. It appears that the primary code is first, but then the other codes populate in a Z to A alphabetic format.
I think this could easily be resolved in the timekeeping rule - WH\TT\PS\CF\TR - under Pay Codes. If the option was here, we could sort pay records based on each timekeeping rule.
