Unsubmitted Timesheet - Notification should also send email to employee.
With the new enhancement in the TT Timekeeping Rule > Timesheet submission, if we check 'Display Notification Alert to Employee' and set a threshold (for us we entered '2 weeks'), it places the yellow-circle+exlclamation point on the employee's Employee Access toolbar, but in our district, no one is seeing this very small notification. It is basically meaningless. Can this same functionality be taken one step further and have the system auto-generate an email to the employee stating they have unsubmitted timesheets? Thank you
Hello! This idea is planned to be worked on. Stayed tuned for more updates on this idea as we get into development! Thank you and have a great day!

Instead of an email, maybe a pop up box when an employee logs in on EA, to let them know that they have a time sheet from a prior week that is unsubmitted. Then put an "OK" for them to click on.

Also consider adding a Missing Timesheet widget that will/can display in Employee Access so the user can see it when they log in. The trick would be if timesheets are submitted from a Reader and/or the Mobile App how to create a notification there for the employee to see.

In a district our size (over 35000 students), it is too difficult and cumbersome to contact employees outside of the system to submit timesheets. The system should be able to notify automatically through email of unsubmitted timesheets as well as a larger notification notice than a yellow exclamation point.

Many staff members don't go into Skyport to even see a check mark or any other notification - it HAS TO BE via e-mail. Same with our supervisors who don't go in either, unless they get notified they have a requisition to approve (BECAUSE they DO get notified once per day of approval needed for that).... hopefully Skyward will work on this automation>!

Would be even more awesome if there was a choice that employees could setup to receive those reminders by email or by text. We have several employees on TrueTime that are not the best about checking their email either, so an option to have them send a text would be really awesome.

Our district is just kicking off True Time and am finding it very frustrating that there is not a way to reach the employee directly, through the system, to let them know they have an unsubmitted time sheet. The same for unapproved timesheets. It is clumsy and inefficient to have to e-mail the employees and supervisors through a separate process.

This is a brilliant idea, Diane, and would save so much time! Thanks for submitting this idea.

We are just piloting True Time and can immediately find that we need a way to e-mail employees directly from a report to advise them that the have unsubmitted timesheets and to approvers for unapproved timesheets.
If I am missing something please let me know but otherwise we need something like this as the alert icon isn't working. -

As a new user to True Time, I have been looking for something like this and wondering why it isn't there. It seems logical and totally necessary. Maybe not so much for districts that have been using it for years but for the new users it is needed as employees are not used to this and need reminders. Same goes for the supervisor/approvers, we need a report or option to send them a reminder for timesheets that need approving.

A wonderful option for this screen would be to add the employee email address to the field selection. I have my quick filter set up to only show those staff members who are missing time sheets for the past week. Every week I drop the list to Excel and have to type each name in the email message that I send out to the staff to remind them to submit their time sheets. If the email address was on the screen we could just copy and paste those email addresses into the message. The other option would be to simply add a feature on this screen to email the employees that are missing time sheets per your screen parameters. *** This request for enhancement was submitted using menu path WA\EM\TT\SA\ET\UT but that menu path no longer exists. So menu path WA\EM\TT\SA\ET was used instead.
