Thank you for submitting the product idea!
For clarification, are you referring to the org chart itself or within Employee Profile tabs?
Thank you for your additional input!

With the 05.20.10.00.01 release which became available on 10/8/2020, notifications can be configured to display for Unsubmitted Time Sheets. The notification will be displayed as an alert in the header of the screen. The number of weeks to look back can also be configured. An option has been added to the Timekeeping Rule to display a notification to the employee when they have unsubmitted time sheets. Turn it on and enter a number of weeks.
Thank you!

Many people have expressed that we need a different way to notify employees/supervisors or unsubmitted/unapproved absences and that the "try this instead" suggestion is not working. Skyward, please listen to your users!!! -

After researching the two issues detailed in the
Product Idea we have some feedback. We will not be considering #1 for development. Best practices in security are constantly changing and bad actors become more resourceful and creative. This is a valid valid email event to me. If a Bad Actor adds a direct deposit number when there wasn’t supposed to be one, that would be something our users would want to be notified about. Even if it does cause alarm, better to be safe then sorry.
We looked into #2 and are not able to duplicate this issue in any environment. We will need to know the exact steps you took to recreate the event.
Thank you.
An error occurred while saving the comment Julie Lipke commentedHere is print screen showing the example of #2. This definitely causes employees to be alarmed and for us to receive an unnecessary phone call.
Surely there must be a way for employees to be alerted only if their account numbers or routing number has been changed.
I will gladly walk someone through it on a webex so you can see it.Julie Lipke supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Julie Lipke commentedWhen we make changes such as printing or not printing a deposit based on if they are newly hired as a permanent employee who will not use employee access or when they are resigning and we want to print an actual deposit it sends employees a notification that their direct deposit has been changed. This causes alarm for our employee and then we have to field the calls when they call to inquire. Please either change when an email is created to only when the account number changes or add some boxes that we can check that would tell the employee that 1 or more of the following has taken place, 1-your account number has been changed, 2-you will no longer receive hard copies of your deposits or 3-you will now be set to receive paper copies of your direct deposits due to an employee status change.

Hello, we are currently researching this idea. Thank you!
An error occurred while saving the comment Julie Lipke commentedTo add to that-can't the system to only make a notification if/when the account number has been modified/changed?
Employees get alarmed when they get the notification that is created when we change the selection to print or not print the deposit notification.Julie Lipke supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Julie Lipke commentedHI Ashley,
I looked for the "short name" option and couldn't find it. I called customer service and this was the reply I received.
from Hanna Lynn to All Participants:
I'll be honest - I can't find this field either! I'm reaching out to Ashley
from Julie Lipke to All Participants:
Thank you.
from Hanna Lynn to All Participants:
I did find that In HR there is not short name field. We only use their Legal (SSN) Name.
from Hanna Lynn to All Participants:
Is this for a STAFF member? There is a short name STAFF field on the student side.
Why would there be something available on the student side and not be able to do it on the finance side. The custom form option doesn't carry through in payroll, directory, etc where we really need it for our trans employees.
Please reconsider this especially given the fact that over 62 people voted for this.

Thank you for submitting this idea. We are planning on releasing an update in Quarter 1 of 2021 to accommodate the various ways in which employees can now report their Gender.
Thank you!
An error occurred while saving the comment Julie Lipke commentedAshley, I see from your earlier response in 2020 that we would be seeing and update for this field.
We still are only able to choose Male or Female and with aiming to be an all inclusive district we need to be able to accommodate our bi, Trans, populations.
This also leads to the much needed preferred name. If a trans person goes by a name other than their legal name and doesn't wish for their legal name to be seen.
Something needs to be worked on with both of these issues given the day and age in which we are in.
Thanks!Julie Lipke supported this idea ·
I can 't begin to tell you how necessary this is Ashley. When I have hundreds of workers under an employee and I have to delete them one at a time it is absurd that there isn't a mass delete feature.
I cannot inactivate any of my employees that had staff under them on an org chart without deleting/moving them. I may not always have a person to move them to at the time.
Jamie suggested I move them to a non-employee type/fake employee however all that did was show my employees a super odd name when submitting timesheets.
Org charts already cause such frustration at this time of the year and this exacerbates it many levels.
I have HUNDREDS of staff under my middle school sport approvers and I end up spending over an hour just deleting them one by one.
I beg you to add a mass delete option to the org chart!
