Notification when PO gets approved
It would be nice to have an option to send an email to whoever is in charge of doing the ordering of newly approved purchase orders. For example, I do the ordering, but I am not part of the approval process. When a requisition finishes getting the approvals it moves into a batch purchase order. Currently someone has to tell me that the purchase order is out there or I have to physically go check if there is something new. Most people assume that I am notified, but I am not so new purchase orders can sit out in batch status for weeks before I know it is there and needs to be ordered. An email notification would fix this situation
Thank you for submitting this idea. We suggest trying this instead:
(1) A Requisition/PO Listing report template can be created for just Batch status POs (WF\PU\RP\RP).
(2) After the report is executed, from My Print Queue, select the report and press the Tasks button.
(3) On the next screen there is a Schedule This button to create a scheduled task for the report.
