Currently all data mining reports allow you to ask it to print an unencumbered or unencumbered remaining balance. However, the remaining balance is only for the final year that you are asking the report to print for. So if you have a fund (which most of us do have funds that run more than 12 months) that runs July 1, 2018 and ends December 2019 (or later), your available balance will never be correct since your fund runs beyond the 12 month period. It will give you the available balance based upon January 2019 through December 2019 but won't include activity from 2018. There needs to be at least ONE report that can give us "appropriation-activity-encumbrances=available balance" no matter what date span we ask for.
