need fields added on position tab
Since the view option was removed from the PAC side we are missing valuable information such as number of days the employee is working in the contract period. The calendar is listed however for those employees that start after the start of the year we can't see how many days without going into WEB, assignments, opening all... We used this information to figure retirement hours since the system doesn't know how to give 8 hours when an employee is 1.0 fte at 7.0 and 7.5 hours nor does it look at the total hours and divide over the number of checks remaining for those that are not 1.0.
Hours per day needs to be added as well so we do not have to figure out the hours for those less than 1.0 fte so we know how much time to set up their time off and accruals for.
Hourly rate is requested for as well so we can set up the hourly pay codes and other pay codes based on that amount.
These were all things we used to be able to see when the view tab was there and it allowed us to be very efficient when setting up employees and when employees call with questions regarding various things.
I have heard from Skyward before that it is very easy to go to WEB and look up the information however, it is not convenient or efficient when most of the program for payroll and benefits is in PAC and we don't use WEB that often.
Since the view tab was removed without consideration to how it would affect users please add these fields to view in PAC position tab.
