A way for employees to opt out printed W2's
We would like a way for employees to select to receive their W2 electronic once and the system keep their selection until they choose differently so they don't have to select every year.
Negative impact - Employees don't log into Employee Access every year and we end up printing their W2
Our hope is once an employee signs up for electronic W2's and 1095-C's they would only have to do this once and not every year. They would always have the option to change back if they wanted to. Our goal is to move away from printing but Federal Government requires us to provide an option for employees to receive via US Mail or electronic.

Great news! The W2 print file process is updated to use the last selected response from the employee’s printing preferences. This is a factor when the employee has not entered a preference for the current year, or when the district is reprinting W2s from a previous year and the employee has since changed their receipt preferences.
