Add Automated Emails to HR/Finance database
We would really like to be able to use Automated Emails in our HR/Finance database like we do with our Student database. For example we would like to send an automated email when new hires are added and be able to filter on their employee type. It is already in place on the Student side. We are hoping it can be added to the HR/Finance side too. It will increase efficiency by automating notifications.

This is very much needed! Need an email to go out to a list of people when a new hire is added or a staff member leaves!

I know this idea is from 2018, but it is a good one. When a new staff member is hired and set-up in Skyward, there are many individuals/departments that need to be notified to ensure a quick onboarding experience. Some examples include: Building Security access, assignment of a computer, the appropriate Skyward Finance/Student access, notification to the applicable Union, and notification to our Teaching and Learning department. There are so many possibilities with an automated email feature based on profile adds, profile employee type changes, and even building changes. This feature would increase efficiency and ensure a change does not get lost.
