The SMS 2.0 strategy behind canned reports was that each report was built with input from customers on what they wanted and needed at that time. The benefit to that strategy was that each report was designed in such a way that is was unique to that area.

As times have changed it has come at the cost of consistency across the system. This strategy was something Skyward shifted with our Qmlativ product where we have one stop shop for Report Management with a Report Designer and a Data Mining Designer.

Do you have specific reports that you’d like updated with a NameKey option in the parameters?

    Thank you.

This override of sending the "automated e-mail" to the employee that their time sheet was denied, would be a great enhancement, since it DOES cause confusion to the employee (I purposely send them an e-mail telling them to disregard the automated e-mail and tell them what I'm fixing and why). Please seriously consider this Skyward!!!

Many staff members don't go into Skyport to even see a check mark or any other notification - it HAS TO BE via e-mail. Same with our supervisors who don't go in either, unless they get notified they have a requisition to approve (BECAUSE they DO get notified once per day of approval needed for that).... hopefully Skyward will work on this automation>!

I think this probably goes along with the idea of notifying an employee they have an unsubmitted time sheet and a "pop up" message that could be sent with a link to Employee Access True Time screen. Currently, I send out an e-mail to the people that haven't submitted with a link. Not optimal, but I'm HOPEFUL for the work Skyward is putting into the latest request on notification.

With the 05.20.10.00.01 release which became available on 10/8/2020, notifications can be configured to display for Unsubmitted Time Sheets. The notification will be displayed as an alert in the header of the screen. The number of weeks to look back can also be configured. An option has been added to the Timekeeping Rule to display a notification to the employee when they have unsubmitted time sheets. Turn it on and enter a number of weeks.

    Thank you!

Hello! Scheduling Direct Deposit emails is current functionality. You can set this up two different ways. If you just sent your Direct Deposit emails recently, you can go into “My Print Queue” (upper right hand corner of your screen). You will see a Report Description with “Send Direct Deposit Emails”. Highlight the row by clicking on it and then click on Tasks on the right hand side. You will then click on Schedule This, which will prompt you to choose which days of the week, months of the year, etc. to run the scheduled task. Once you are finished click Save. If you do not have any recent Direct Deposit Emails sent, once you run your next Payroll and you send the notification you will have the same record in your Print Queue which will allow you to setup your scheduled task with the same steps above. Thank you and…
